Charming 4B island getaway with revitalized pool area, beach decor, pet-friendly

Wonderful home in a great location. Plenty of space and an excellent enclosed back pool deck was great for entertaining and relaxing while keep our small dog nearby. Very close to the bike path with a crosswalk, which made morning walks so nice, and just a quick 5 minutes to south beach made beach days super low stress. Having two washer/dryers was so awesome to keep up on the pool towels (of which ample are provided!) The kitchen was well stocked with more than just the basic tools, which is great for my avid cook spouse, and the grill was easy to use and a great size. Our only very minor hiccup was that housecleaning was still finishing up when we arrived at just past 4p, but that was only an issue because we had an early ferry and were anxious to be settled. Would 100% recommend and rent again.

We love staying at Jay's place. Great quiet neighborhood, lovely house, nice pool...everything we needed.

This property was as advertised. Clean, new, nice swimming pool. Checking in was seamless, and there was plenty of space for 8. We were unlucky - the refrigerator broke and would not get cold. The property manager was right on top of it, and got a repairman on site ASAP. They accommodated us with coolers and ice, and the owner made good on it. The best service for a bad situation. We would stay here if we Vineyard vacation again

Wonderful stay. Property as described and pool was lovely. Well worth renting a bike to get around town. Easy trip to shopping and great food.

Hosts were gracious and accommodating, kitchen was well equipped. One of the bedrooms is in the basement with two sets of bunk beds so I wouldn’t recommend for 8 adults but otherwise great property

The property was perfect for our family. We had two grandparents, one teenager, one pre-teen, two adults, and one dog. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We loved pool and the neighborhood, too. Thank you!

This was our 2nd year renting. It is a great mix of updated with the classic vineyard charm. The house is clean, comfortable and is setup beautifully to allow a family to have time together but also time apart. The pool is a hit for the entire group. Communication and ease of a quick trip to OB or Edgartown make it a perfect getaway.

Part of me wants to give a glowing review, and part of me wants to say it was terrible just to ensure the home’s availability when we return lol! I really cannot say enough great things about this house! The neighborhood is beautifully kept and the location could not be better. Minutes to the Main Street shopping and restaurants of Edgartown, with a short (15min) drive to the hustle and bustle of Oak Bluffs. There’s even a convenient grocery store about 6 mins away. The house itself was absolutely lovely. Modern updates in a quaint and secluded neighborhood made this the perfect location for our family. There were even a few pleasant surprises in the home that I won’t give away! The only thing that would have made this better was if there were a few less spiders and ants :/ Being in a wooded location makes it hard to get away from these critters so this isn’t really a complaint. The mattresses could have been more comfortable as well, but they weren’t so bad that I’d be deterred from renting again. Overall, it was a 5 star location and I can’t wait to return!

We have been renting on the Vineyard for 9 years and this house is now at the top of our list. We usually stay in OB but wanted to try a different location. It is tucked into a quiet neighborhood where the kids could bike. We were close to the bike path for a ride into town and 10-15 min drive to OB or Vineyard Haven. The only downside to the location is that you can’t walk to dinner or for coffee but the this small con is minor compared to all the pros! The house was very clean and not moldy which is a bit unique on the Cape & Islands so the asthmatic in me really loved that! The house is roomy with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and of course - the pool was a hit with the adults and kids. The communication with the owner was awesome.
