Charming 3-bedroom house with pool and WiFi in North Port in amazing community

I stayed in this home for 1 month. The location is fantastic, safe neighborhood, easy driving, lots of restaurants & shopping.The house, as a previous reviewer stated, looked like some minor construction was planned but not finished (boards behind couch, master bath is missing a mirror & wires coming out of ceiling, possibly from previous TVs). There were lots of cooking utensils & dishes. The pantry had a lot of food items (canned) but didn't use. Maybe items could be donated. There is only 1 TV & no lighting in living room. There was a kitchen table but only 4 chairs. The actual dining area is empty. This worked ok for me but if you had 6 people as property states, you wouldn't have seating.The homeowner was responsive to my questions. The pool heater was not working which was a disappointment. There is a community pool which is nice. Overall this is a nice home & area to stay.

We had to buy a coffee maker when we got there ( none on site ). There was only 1 television ( that was in the living room) the only light in the living room was an artificial tree with a small string of white Christmas lights. We had to move a lamp from the master bedroom into the living room. The master bathroom shower water was lukewarm. And the master bathroom was under some sort of construction. There were no butter knives in the kitchen utensil drawer. There was a stack of wood trim behind the sofa. I felt the house needed a little more work before it was available for rent

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised as the first people to rent the property. We were skeptical at first, but so pleased with the outcome after taking a chance! This home is beautiful! It is located in a gated community of Bobcat Trail. So it is safe and the neighbors are friendly! I will admit there were a few glitches as the first renters, but the owner was quick to fix any issue immediately to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. As very seasoned travelers and VRBO users, we know what to look for when renting a long term (month or more) rental. The owner was so responsive, and has multiple resources local to the home to make it your perfect vacation home away from home. We only had 1 person in our party to use the pool briefly. February was just a little too cold for the rest of us! But it is a beautiful pool and patio area. The kitchen is lovely and set up very well for use. There is a dry bar in the dining area. The living room is very comfortable with a leather sofa and love seat combo. The master area is a dream! It has a very large master bedroom, walk in closet, another double mirrored door closet and a very large double sink, walk in shower and jacuzzi tub bathroom. The spare bedroom and bath are very comfortable. I will warn potential renters that the 3rd bedroom is smaller with a decent closet. It is appointed with a small sofa/futon about double bed size. Still a nice room. We would not hesitate to stay her again.
