Casita De Santa Cruz - Steps from Scenic West Cliff Drive

We had a wonderful stay at this charming casita. It is truly a hidden treasure! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood, and we enjoyed walking to the beach and the lighthouse and relaxing in the hot tub. It's worth noting that the bathroom has a bathtub and shower, but we did need to provide shampoo/conditioner and soap, as other reviewers noted. We had trouble with the code at check-in; however, the host resolved this very quickly. I highly recommend staying at the casita.

Our expectations were high and were exceeded. The host was a great and a gracious helper and advisor. Locals drive miles to be near the places we walked a block or two to visit. The Casita had everything. We had a fun packed and memorable stay.

Difficult to find......quiet neighborhood though close to everything.

The house was perfect for our party of four (3 adults and a toddler). The living space was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, and we ate all our meals in the lovely patio. The hot tub was an added bonus. The location is wonderful for walking to many great Santa Cruz restaurants and activities.

The Casita is a nice quiet place near the ocean.

Overall, our stay was excellent. The location was great, just a couple blocks to West Cliff, easy walk into town and the wharf. Place was clean and beds comfortable. We had issues with the outlets in the bedrooms not working - only 1 outlet in each bedroom worked. The host was responsive quickly and although they couldn't fix the issue while we were there, they supplied us with extension cords that worked around the issue. No soap, shampoo or conditioner - it did say that in amenities but I honestly think that is something the host should provide. It's a small nicety especially when you don't read all the details of the amenities beforehand and now have to buy those things.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location could not be beat. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and just a short walk to many beautiful sites, including the boardwalk, the wharf, and W. Cliff Dr. The Casita was very comfortable and exactly as advertised. The back patio space with the hot tub and outdoor table was so peaceful and beautiful. An absolutely wonderful property, terrific communication from the host, and overall outstanding stay.

Place is an excellent stay for anything Santa Cruz. They also have a lot of extras that make the stay easy like beach towels and such.

Great location, very comfortable beds, awesome amenities with the exception of needing to supply our own dish soap, and shower soaps - not enough paper supplies. Other than that, hope to stay again!

Everything was awesome. Location and access to Santa Cruz is great. Unfortunately there were a lot of ants. Might be because the floor downstairs was warm.

A great location to experience Santa Cruz. Cozy, comfortable, clean. Hot tub is a bonus. A short walk to the scenic West Cliff Dr,, fisherman's wharf and biardwalk. Truly great experience

Great spot for a couple. Wonderful host, location was close to everything on Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Wharf, a great experience...don't miss Wilder Ranch.

We had a lovely time at Casita De Santa Cruz, everything was as advertised on the website, entry to the house was straightforward, lots to do and see, we also had family living in the area so it was great to catch up with them. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely house.

Great location, lovely stay.

The casita is a great spot to stay for proximity to the wharf, boardwalk and much more. The neighborhood is quiet, quaint and very walkable. There is an enclosed children’s park a couple blocks away that was perfect for our 2 year old granddaughter. Jill is exceptional for response time to inquiries. There were a couple of minor issues but they were not deal breakers. We would definitely stay here again if our son does another SC Half Ironman!

Beautiful place to stay in a great location. It was stocked with everything you need and easy to use. Amazing location with a short walk to the West Cliff Drive and easy to get to wonderful eateries.

This is one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in on our many trips to Santa Cruz. Great location--just minutes to West Cliff and all the action on the Wharf, but in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. The casita had everything our family needed for our 1-week stay and the kitchen was stocked as well as our own at home for meal prep and serving. Our hosts were great, and we will definitely plan to reserve this gem again in the future!
