This historic Spanish Bungalow features a freshly reappointed interior and exterior. Stayed Jul 3, 2020Our couple’s getaway and relaxation trip away from the hustle and bustle of regular every day was to take place 3-5th July at this property. Today is the 11th of July, and neither the owners nor VRBO have attempted to find a responsible solution to this issue; nor have they at the least refunded the deposit and cleaning fee for a stay that never happened. The nice photo’s you see of the front of the home, are just that a facade, just the front. The property Is located in a regular neighborhood and not in a getaway location. Even though the house was in order and apparently clean, the house smells of mold and dust. Attempts to call the owners were and have been unsuccessful. During our initial call they hung up and afterwards didn't answer any other calls. One of the owners told my wife and I over a single text they could do nothing or couldn’t help; to call the reservation company (VRBO) and deal with them. When we called VRBO, to convey our concerns, the owners would not respond to calls or emails from their own reservation company, at that point VRBO escalated the issue to the next higher level and we where told to wait for a call (from the escalation department (up to 48 hours) , mind you we had to find other accommodations at a higher premium and unlike the intended purpose of our trip, since this was the 4th of July weekend and last minute. End state for future travelers...be aware, things often are not what you are lead to believe.

Stayed Jan 14, 2026A great place (and dog friendly) to stay in Kerrville!! It has everything you will need and more. Dogs loved the back yard. There is unique art and wonderful Mexican/Southwestern touches throughout the home. It’s roomy, very comfortable and is in a great location. We hope to come back soon!Beckye & KellyeAustin TX

Stayed Apr 7, 2024We loved this property & it suited us well. The only problem was a bad fall & sprained ankle caused by the double step in the master bedroom. The first step had orange tape on it, but the second one only had a small strip of printed tape, which made it difficult to see with no lights on. I also had my hands full of personal belongings, which made that step even more dangerous!

Stayed Nov 19, 2023My family and I traveled to the Kerrville/Fredericksburg area for a quick weekend to hike and climb Enchanted Rock. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. I love the artwork displayed. We will certainly recommend this house to our family and friends!

Stayed Oct 6, 2023The house was great. The only surprise was that it was listed as a two bedroom, but the second bed was an uncomfortable pull out couch. Had I read all the way through the description I might have seen that and been able to make a different reservation. In any case it is a nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Sep 8, 2023We stayed here to celebrate my brother’s birthday. There were several events in town we attended. This location was perfect and the house is super cute. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. 2 full bathrooms made it easy for getting ready. We loved it!

Stayed Jun 16, 2023Great camper drop-off stay at this home, which truly lives up to its San Miguel Allende/Marfa comparison. Loved that so much of the historic charm of the home has been preserved, and it was beautifully appointed with vintage MCM and fine art. Bedroom was very comfortable for a couple, and our 10 year-old slept well on the pullout sofa (the mattress topper was a huge plus). Great location for Kerrville with easy access to everything in town. Will definitely book again.

Stayed Jun 12, 2023Overall our stay was wonderful. We loved the house and everything in it. It was charming, comfortable and a great location. The only negative was the sheets on the fold out sofa bed were not clean. They were left on the pull out and all wadded up and soiled. So the first night of sleep on the sofa with just a comforter wasn't the best. But the next day we washed the sheets and we were good to go. We had a great time exploring Kerrville and enjoyed our stay. Thank you
