'Carmel Tranquility' 2 Beaches 6 and 9mins walk from a bright & airy beach home

We had a great time in Carmel. We hiked at Point Lobos which is 7minutes away and had a nice home to go home to. The house is clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend it to all my friends n relatives. The price is very reasonable and did all my communications online with the owners manager. They’re very detailed on rules, instructions and directions. What I loved is so centralized to all the tourists stuff we wanted to visit like Point Lobos, Monterey, Pebble beach, 17 mile drive etc. We had lunch in downtown Carmel which is walkable or 3 minutes drive. The house itself is in quite neighborhood and had nice beds for goodnight sleep. Will definitely go back

The location, charm, and setup of this lovely home was perfect for our family. We loved sitting outside on the terrace and walking on the beach, just steps away. We also visited the children’s farmers market on Friday at the school down the block. Check out the amazing Scenic View road. Thank you!

Proximity to Mission Ranch and Carmel Beach was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful property. The place is bright and cheery, very comfortable, and in a great location. I hope we can come back with the family and grandkids sometime, as it is a perfect accommodation for that.

A simple place to stay for a trip. We were pleased with everything and did not find any problems I can think of. At the time of our stay Air conditioning was not needed as it was cool at night. We were pleased with all of the hummingbirds in the backyard due to the flowers as well.

This property makes a wonderful stay. Plenty of room, basic amenities, great location, comfortable beds, close access to the ocean, and quick response by property manager to small detail when the coffee pot died. House is very spacious and sunny, nice backyard with table/chairs for relaxing, and quiet neighborhood. Would stay again.

Delightful property and thoroughly enjoyable stay.

It was a great stay. The check in was smooth, the house manager, Rick was very responsive. The house was well equipped and clean. The bonus room was a great surprised to kids. It's a five minutes walk to the beach and close enough to downtown where a 15 minute walk takes you to a nice coffee shop or restaurants.

My sister and I and her two kids (17 and 18 yo) had a nice time staying here in this lovely home for five nights. The place was clean and well stocked with the basic essentials. (One feedback is that when we first walked in the entire house smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals and gave us a bit of a headache as it took awhile to get aired out - but otherwise all good.) Great location - we were only a short walk from two beaches going either direction and to the shops/restaurants. Also, the Mission Ranch restaurant was just down the street. Excellent location with a short walk to Carmel Beach. Check-in is easy with a pin-based door lock. Kitchen is fully stocked including a coffee maker and toaster in addition to typical appliances, but bring your own coffee/tea. The children's playroom was a welcome surprise and our baby was a fan. While the property is overall very clean, it did not seem like the floors were mopped (only vacuumed) as walking barefoot, your feet quickly got dirty. Also just an FYI as preferences vary, but the 2 King mattresses are the softest I have ever used and you fully sink into them; to us this was a major con but may be a pro for you.

House was perfect for combined family including young children. The secret playroom was a real bonus. The size and layout very comfortable and perfectly situated for a combination of activities. Very convenient to walk to beach and well equipped with beach supplies!

This is a great home and location for families with younger kids. Our kids loved the setup with bunk beds and play room, and the guest and primary bedrooms worked perfectly for us and my spouse's parents with plenty of space and very comfortable beds.Highlights were numerous but to name a few: Kitchen was well-stocked, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, regular, newer washer/dryer set, home well-stocked with amenities and toiletries, clean, located just a half block to a elementary school so close to playground, walkable to beaches, quiet neighborhood, and thoughtful touches from hosts like detergent for washer and plenty of towels.The only minor challenge was the wifi wasn't very strong so it was sometimes difficult when using phones/computers to connect to internet.Nonetheless, we highly recommend this property and were extremely pleased with our stay and the communication with the hosts and property manager. Would love to return in future years!

Nice quiet neighborhood surrounded by other fairytale type properties. Very peaceful walks to and from the local sites. Only a 5 minute drive to Point Lobos which cannot be missed. The garage has been converted to a spectacular playroom for little ones. Only thing missing in the house was extra blankets.

Very comfortable, nice home in a great spot. Big enough for our family group of 6 people. There was still room for 2 more kids in the bunk beds. Big table for the whole family was great. Bedrooms are comfortable and have nice mattresses. One of the bedrooms needs a chest of drawers. Yard is very pretty. Gas grill available for use on the back patio. Kitchen is stocked pretty well. Beach toys and beach chairs available for use were a nice plus. Location is excellent--near River Beach, Carmel Beach and town. Owners were great to work with. We may rent there again in the future.

We had a great time in Carmel and this house was cozy and welcoming after a day of exploring. Great location and close to beach, restaurants and shopping. June and Paul are great host and Rick the property manager responded quickly to text.

It was good to get the California sunshine and warmth in February, short walk to the beach and a well appointed home, made it very welcoming for the family.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location to walk to town and the beach. Loved walked over to Mission Ranch too.

Grounds were beautiful and house was exactly as described. We didn’t find anything we needed that wasn’t there. Lots of beach stuff to use that was great.

The property was exactly as described. It was beautiful, quiet, very clean, easy walk to beaches, peaceful, and very well supplied. It was a great place to enjoy Carmel. We would definitely recommend this place, and would love to stay there again. Excellent communication with property manager.

This cottage with its lovely gardens and outdoor areas manages to exude tranquility despite being short blocks from the famous beaches that dazzle visitors to Carmel. The furnishings are comfortable and tastefully chosen and the kitchen is amply equipped. It feels like home, if your home were in beautiful Carmel. And the play room is Heaven for young family members. Our granddaughter was enchanted. We look forward to returning next year.

Master bathroom drain clogged; pillows on beds the size of big logs and unusable; windows in house had no ability to open making bedrooms musty smelling and warm at nite; sewer backed up while visiting - learned from plumber that the sewer backed up several weeks before our visit.
