Carmel Point Charmer... Near the Beach!

The house is spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous garden of flowering plants and green grass.

We love this place--cozy living room with fireplace used every evening, very beautiful yard with many flowers, hummingbirds, numerous places to sit and read and enjoy the ambiance and so convenient to the ocean and great walking. Joy, the host, is very responsive.

The host sent us all the info we needed in a timely manner. The house was well stocked with everything you can think of; cooking equipment, beach gear, puzzles and games, lots of space, a fantastic yard (our grandkids loved it) and only minutes walk from a beautiful beach.

This home was just perfect for our family of 5 adults, a 2-year-old, and a dog. We cooked more than we dined out -- kitchen is extremely well-stocked. The front and back yard are jam packed with beautiful plants. The proximity to the beach and Scenic drive and downtown Carmel is phenomenal. The home is stocked with every amenity you could think of -- beach towels and toys, passes to the aquarium, extra house keys, books, games, toys, quality shampoos and conditioners, guidebooks, fans, every imaginable appliance, and a thoughtful welcome basket. The host, Joy, was very accommodating, quick to respond, and sweet.

Perfect location to our favorite beach and The Mission Ranch. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable. The garden and outdoor spaces are lovely. We love this property!

We loved our stay at this home, with so much space, everthing we needed for cooking and entertainment, and a charming backyard -- all within a short walk from the best small beach in the area, and a nice longer walk from the heart of Carmel by the Sea! What a lovely get away in a perfect spot for our family!

Great location and walkable to both beaches and Ocean Ave. We spent a lot of time in the backyard, especially when it was sunny. The house is well stocked with everything you could ask for and we really appreciated the welcome baskets of snacks, chocolate, coffee, tea and a bottle of wine! The home and bedrooms were cozy and the gardens were straight out of a magazine. We felt totally at home. Joy was always responsive and helpful.

This was the second time I’ve stayed in this house and it did not disappoint! The house is charming, comfy and well stocked, and the gardens and courtyard are fantastic. It’s a short walk to Carmel River Beach, and about a mile to the restaurants and shops in Carmel. This would be my first choice for future visits to Carmel!

We loved this spot, the location was incredible and the house and garden were so charming. We couldn't have been happier.

We stayed 5 nights with family. Ideal to have 4 bedrooms, 2 with private baths, and 2 with a shared bath. Location is next to river marsh so plenty of birds and frog song at night. 5 minute walk to stunning Carmel River Beach. This home has the best equipped kitchen of any VRBO we've ever used--so we were able to prepare and enjoy some great meals. High quality gas grill, too. We love the area and would surely stay here again.

This house was perfect for a family of 5 1 mother-in-law. The beds and living spaces clean and comfortable. The garden gorgeous. Well supplied kitchen gadgets and appliances. The location 1.5 blocks from Carmel River Beach makes enjoying the beach very easy. We used the Monterey Aquarium passes, which was a very nice bonus. If there’s anything wrong with the house, it’s that it’s too far from Ocean Ave for some people to be able to walk. Otherwise, if you like walking it’s a beautiful walk and not an issue. We never had trouble finding a parking spot in March near shops and restaurants.

This is a comfortable, homey, well stocked Carmel Point located home with wonderful sunny gardens for visiting, reading, watching the birds, BBQing. Close to the beaches & other beautiful walks. Works great for a 3 generation family gathering!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was perfect and it was a very close walk to the beach and town.

We had an enjoyable stay at this comfortable and pleasant older home. The yard is beautiful and the location to Carmel's beaches is ideal.

We spent 4 wonderful nights here with our family over Thanksgiving. Everything was absolutely perfect! The owner was very prompt and attentive in responding to our communication and answering all of my questions. I was delighted that my 90 year old mother was able to comfortably join us. Everything was clean and the house well stocked. The yard and gardens are beautiful, with a variety of lovely sitting areas to enjoy. We loved being within walking distance to the beach, scenic walk to downtown Carmel, many fun small neighborhoods to explore, and in close proximity to the store and shopping. Everything was delightful! We have been coming to Carmel for Thanksgiving week for years, and this home in its wonderful location will definitely be a repeat!

We are a group of friends that only see each other once a year. This was the most perfect place for us to get together and enjoy each other. The house is darling and we all had our own space although we spent most our time I. The back yard. We loved the gardens and loved watching the giant hummingbirds that played out back. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. It was a very short walk to the beach which we took advantage of and saw the most beautiful sunsets. Great host

We are four friends who have known each other for 40+ years and try to get away together several times a year. This house is perfect. Beautiful inside and out and makes a great base for area day trips. It is our second time staying here and feel it is a wonderful place to relax.

Perhaps the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated with a great layout. One bed and bath upstairs that was like our personal retreat. Two bedrooms and bath downstairs with another bed and bath on the opposite side of the house. Everyone had personal space when they wanted it and could come together in a spacious and comfortable living room with fireplace and large TV. Kitchen was well supplied with nook and formal dining room to choose from for meals. Large manicured back yard with many comfortable seating options. Lots of parking. Short walks to River beach and Main beach. I could go on and on. Loved it. We will be back!

This was a great place to stay with 4 couples here to celebrate a wedding. Kitchen was well equipped for so many people. I Gardens were beautiful!

This property is amazing! Well located, well outfitted, plenty of room for people to co-exist yet find space on their own. One of the best properties I've had the opportunity to stay at. The beds were comfortable, great outside space and a nice big kitchen Absolutely loved it!
