This four (4) bedroom home with three (3) full baths has been modernized from top to bottom. Visitors are invited and welcomed in by the spacious open floor plan. With high vaulted ceilings, skylights and floor to ceiling windows provide an abundance of light and exquisite forest views throughout the house.

This home is only 1.5 miles from Carmel Beach – well within easy reach of your favorite downtown restaurants, tasting rooms, and designer boutiques – yet it sits far back from the street on an oversized hillside lot, so there’s nothing to detract from the dreamlike sense of sun-dappled stillness and remoteness that suffuses the special atmosphere. Enter “Nirvana” via a descending driveway, and listen to bubbling fountains and soft breezes playing in the mature oak trees overhead. The updated kitchen features granite countertops, state of the art gas oven and range and large refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with complete dinnerware, serving ware, utensils and all the appliances needed to entertain guests an elegant dinner. A sumptuous Master Suite is located on the main level, complimented with a King Bed, two (2) large closets and large sliding doors that open to the expansive upper deck. The deck provides guests with panoramic views of Hatton Canyon and the Santa Lucia mountains. Also on the main level, a second bedroom with a King Bed that may be converted into two twins and an additional full bath. The homes lower level also provides a separate entrance, and offers guests two (2) bedrooms with one full bath, an additional living area, large laundry room and second wrap around deck! The lower level bedrooms are accoutered with a Queen bed in one room and a King Bed that may be converted into two Twins in the other. Sleeps up to eight (8) adults + two (2) additional children.     We didn't use the hot tub. The tiles around it are hodge podge and a couple broken. I didn't feel it was safe for walking around and getting in and out. It's close to the highway but the sound is pretty quiet. It's a nice protected lot. I was disappointed because I walk every morning and not an easy location to walk around. We did have trouble with the coffeemaker and the property manager went out and bought a brand new one. That one also didn't work on the pod side. Might consider a new brand?? Lots of dishes, pots and pans. Very comfortable to stay there. The master shower also didn't work, but Marco got a plumber there that day and it worked fine.

    This property was great! Marco and Mary Jane both checked in regularly. The house was great and perfect for our group. We had 6 people and everyone had their own space. We were there for 4 days of racing and came back each night to make dinner, relax in the hot tub, and play pool. It was so much fun. Each bedroom has a deck area, and they are spread out around the house so everyone had their own space to retreat to. The oven was broken, so Marco let me know upon check in, and brought a little electric oven, then bought and installed a new one while we were out racing. The house was very clean and comfortable. The moss, trees and view were great and the house was very peaceful. There were also a lot of nice touches - plenty of linens, towels, s'mores kit, specific towels, linens and poop bags for dogs (even though we didn't have one), umbrellas, games, a coffee bar totally stocked with biscotti, creamer, hot chocolate, tea, etc...I would definitely stay here again!

    Great space for four couples to comfortably sleep and for hanging out! We used the pool table and hot tub much more than I expected. We enjoyed foggy, cool mornings looking out over the canyon. The kitchen is well equipped for making a big breakfast and we used the grill for dinner once. Pebble Beach, Monterey and the beach & shops in Carmel are all close enough (10-20 minute drive max) that part of the group could do an excursion and return easily to meet up for other activities with everyone. Enjoyed Folktale Winery tour and drinks at La Playa. Marco at Carmel Coast Estate was very responsive and easy to work with. He was quick to fill the reserve propane tank (gas fire pit & grill) and dropped off extra Nespresso capsules!

    We very much enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. Every bedroom was attractive and comfortable, the great room was lovely, the kitchen was well appointed, and the view from the deck was serene - the sky, greenery and the sounds of birds creating just the environment we wanted. It was conveniently located, close to downtown Carmel and the beach. We also appreciated having a pool table, which we played when we were hanging around the home. We were able to cook nice meals in the kitchen, and our family enjoyed sitting around the large dining table to eat our meals.

    Took both sets of grandparents for a weekend to Carmel with our teens. Used the first floor for the elderly and had our family in the downstairs rooms. We all loved the spaciousness of the home with extra common areas throughout. The neighborhood was great for walking our dogs, and the home is set against a beautiful back drop. Loved the views. Pool table was a plus. Would definitely return.

    All great w location, size for family 7 and apparent cleanliness. BUT, not clear okay for pets. Two of our family members had visit compromised w allergy attack to pet dander. Should be made obvious pets allowed.

    The ground level included kitchen living room, dining room two nice bedrooms with bathroom for each. Downstairs was an office/den area two bedrooms and one bathroom. The property was great. Had fun playing pool with my family. The backyard expensive and beautiful. Management was great. Could not have asked for a better place to spend, while attending the Carmel Bach festival.

    Great home for families . Loved the hot tub, pool table and the brand new ping pong table . All beds comfortable . Plenty of towels and blankets driveway a little tricky . Beautiful grounds and views . Only downside was having to make extra stop to receive code to enter home .
