Stayed Aug 5, 2021I whole heartily agree with previous reviews: great communication with the owner, nice house, perfect location. The owner was generous and attentive and she does live on the other side of the house which isn't quite clear in the listing. I thought maybe she was in a garage apartment or studio on the property. There is a door in the living room that leads to her living space and her office is directly behind the master bedroom. The house has all top quality appliances, linens, etc. and was very clean. The reason I am giving the house a four star rating is the comfort at night with the sleeping arrangements. One bedroom was unbearable, it had a window fan and ceiling fan, it was over 80 degrees in the room. The master has A/C that was okay but the room was so damp with humidity that it was quite uncomfortable. The last bedroom the A/C was really great. The downstairs got very little cross breeze when the windows were open and the ceiling fans were on. So everyone's tolerance level is different and this is only my experience. I would definitely recommend a stay depending on your own preferences. This house will go rented non-stop for a long time to come ;)

Stayed Jul 27, 2021We had a great time staying at this beautiful house in Jamestown. Alyce is a lovely hostess and welcomed us like visiting family. The house is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed spending time in the living room. We also grilled and enjoyed the backyard. It was definitely a positive experience and we plan on coming back for another stay in the future.

Stayed Jun 27, 2021We had a wonderful experience staying here. The owner, Alyce, is warm and welcoming and she was very helpful and easy to communicate with both prior to and during our stay. The house is lovely and comfortable, well appointed and decorated, and was very clean. I would highly recommend staying here!
