Captain's House ~ amazing ocean view, 2 min walk to beach, near Cannon Beach

This was such a wonderful house for our family and Cristina was such a fantastic host! We had a mini family reunion here and there were plenty of beds and towels and we were wowed by the huge open area upstairs where we were able to cook and eat and play games and enjoy the views of the water. It's only a few minutes to walk to the beach and we divided our outdoor time walking that beach and driving to Cannon Beach to enjoy the town and beach. Truly a memorable stay for us and we hope to be back again! Thanks Cristina!!

This house is amongst the best I’ve stayed in-and I travel domestically and internationally. Spacious, clean, Well appointed with quality furniture. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything they could imagine we’d need… from extra linens to beach towels. Beds were quite comfortable Bedding was uncommonly high quality. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very roomy for a group of crafters. Love the 2nd bed in every bedroom. Stairs to the main level was a bit of a challenge for our elderly moms but we managed just fine. All happy campers in our group of 8.

Always love coming back here! Our family has been making memories in this rental over the last few years and haven’t been disappointed. Wonderful set up for a multigenerational family group.

My friends and I rented this property for a 5 day friend getaway. This is probably the best VRBO property I have ever stayed in. I honestly cannot think of anything to complain about. It was perfect. The private baths for each bedroom really sealed the deal for us. Although the property was close to Cannon Beach, we opted to stay at the property most of the time, it was that comfortable. I hope to rent this again.

The property matched the listing description and photos. The house worked out perfectly for our 6 adults and 2 children perfectly. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The house itself was very clean, updated, and in a great location for a short walk to the beach. The view of the ocean was not full on but still quite visible. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and very spacious. It was so nice that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms attached. The beds were very comfortable!

The house location was great. We usually stay in Cannon Beach but we loved Arch cape. Arch cape was more quiet but you were still close enough to Cannon Beach to run into town to eat and shop. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. I would definitely rent again.

The Captain's House was the perfect property for our family vacation. The house was beautiful--upon arrival we were impressed by the large windows in the family room that allowed us to see the amazing Pacific Ocean. The balcony also had a wonderful view of the ocean and we were so close, you could sit and listen to the waves. The decor was lovely, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was very clean. The house was large enough for our family of 10 and everyone had their own space. It was so close to the beach and what a lovely beach--not crowded like you would find in Cannon Beach. The location was perfect--close to Cannon Beach and Astoria. The host was very easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. It was a very relaxing vibe and we would definitely return.

Captain's House was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The view was outstanding and we enjoyed all the amenities. We will most likely stay here again when it's my turn to plan.

This is hands down the nicest stay our group has ever had. All of the beds were comfortable. 2 beds per room made for everyone's overall comfort. The place was clean, well-stocked and spacious. We crafted and visited for 4 days and only left because there is an awesome quilt store in Cannon Beach. Will be back!

We, along with three other couples have been vacationing on the Oregon Coast for the past 25 years. This house had one of the best stocked (& organized) kitchens of all we've stayed in. Also a plus was 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, which can be hard to find on the coast. Nice living room with plenty of seating and a large dining table. I do want to comment on the parking, we were fine because we only had two rigs there that we parked outside, but if you'd need to park a vehicle in the garage, know that a full size short-wheel base pickup won't fit in the garage. We all enjoyed our stay at The Captain's House, and the day trips we took to Tillamook & Astoria. Always a great time on the Oregon Coast!

Well stocked kitchen for cooking Christmas dinner. Amazing view of the ocean and comfortable sleeping accommodations for everyone. The house was decorated for Christmas which was an added bonus. Easy check in and out process.

Well appointed, comfortable and spacious home! We enjoyed this house with friends for a long weekend of crafting and playing cards. It was super clean, had a beautiful view and was really comfortable for three couples. I highly recommend!

This home provided excellent space for all. Exceptional great room with cozy seating for all plus the view, cooking going on, spacious kitchen and huge dining room. Abundant choices for sleeping plus four bathrooms provided privacy, and two exterior decks to enjoy the outdoors. Quick walk to beach or head out to shop at nearby shops!

This house is fantastic. Plenty of beds, plenty of rooms each with their own bath, great kitchen, comfortable table and living areas. Stunning view.

We had an incredible stay in Arch Cape. The home was larger and more beautiful than expected. The home was spotless and comfortable and the location was perfect - quick walk to the beach and a short drive to all the beautiful spots in and around Arch Cape. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of extra bedding and towels. We couldn't have asked for a better family reunion.

My family is large enough that I had to rent the Captain's House and the Loft of Riley. The Captain's House was occupied by 4 adults and 4 kids. The space was large enough to make everyone feel that they had the privacy they needed. It is well designed for multiple family vacation living. The view from the upper living space was beautiful. The only minor drawback is that the beach is a 5 minute walk which can make it cumbersome it bathroom breaks with the kids are necessary. I would have no problem renting this home again.

This house has wonderful views, is very close to the beach, and is very roomy. We had four couples and two young children. Everyone had enough private space, and we also enjoyed the areas available to get together as a group. We utilized the kitchen and the barbecue, eating both inside and out. We will definitely try to return.

This is a fantastic property- great for our multi generational family. Clean, well equipped, close to the beach. We’ve rented this house for the last several years and love it.

The house is the perfect size for a large family. We had 9 people and loved that the kitchen table accommodates 10. It made for fun evenings enjoying dinner together and playing cards and other games. Also, there were enough beds that none of the kids had to share, so that made them happy. The house is clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is nicely stocked. Loved that there was a washer and dryer for us to use after a day on the beach. Arch Cape does not have public beach access, so time on that beach was quiet and enjoyable. We had fun roasting marshmallows around a campfire one evening. Because the beach is quiet, the kids had fun finding lots of seashells too. Centrally located on the Oregon coast, makes for easy travel to explore the whole coastline from Astoria to Cape Meare. Definitely, a place where I would stay again, if we decide to return to the Oregon coast.
