Candy Cove Peace and seclusion by the Sea in Maine

Our fourth trip to the Tenants Harbor area and we finally found the perfect place. The property was perfect. Three master bedroom/bath, ample kitchen, living and dining rooms. All with perfect views of the water. House was well kept with everything we needed. Fire pit by the water for afternoon relaxing. But the best thing was the interaction with the owners. They called when we rented to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Called before our arrival to answer any questions and checked on us while there. Really made us feel at home as they seemed to care about us during our stay. This place would receive the highest VRBO rating I could ever give. I assured the owners we would be back next year. As I said, we found our perfect place on the Coast of Maine

The house is even better than the pictures. It was the perfect spot for our family and the location is great! The kitchen was perfect to cook in (which we did a lot of) and the house layout made it easy to have everyone under the same roof.

The setting is iconic, profound and extraordinarily peaceful. The house is a gem. One is surrounded by a most tasteful beauty in it walls with a most compelling natural ocean setting. 6 stars!!

The oceanfront view from this property is amazing! The house is beautiful and well appointed for the perfect beach vacation. Can't wait to go back again next summer.

The owners of this house, Jay and Annette, were extremely communicative prior to our stay and throughout, replying immediately if we had any questions/concerns. The house was fantastic for our family and we love the location, amazing views from almost every room in the house with doors to the backyard everywhere. We would definitely stay there again!

Such a wonderful home. My family and I stayed here for 1 week in early August 2022. Our hosts, Jay and Annette, could not have been nicer with great suggestions of places to eat, visit and shop. They both met us at the house when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house and the grounds. The house was in great shape and very clean be sure to see all of the artwork hanging around the house). All of this and an amazing view of the ocean. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting in the Adirondack chairs and taking in the beautiful sunrises and sunsets and listening to the waves. During the day we visited the area around Port Clyde and made easy day trips to Camden and Belfast. The town of Port Clyde had plenty of shops and places to eat as well a bakery, a Co-op to by the freshest lobsters and plenty of other things to do and see. If the rest of the area wasn't so nice to explore, we could have been happy just staying at the house, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful days by the water. The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your time. I would recommend that you get in touch with Jay and Annette and book your stay now.

We had a wonderful two weeks staying at this beautiful home. The setting was lovely, the fireplace and firepit were cozy, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We had plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and relax. The location was isolated enough for privacy and comfort, but close enough to town for convenience. We’d happily go back!
