Our group loved the space. Even though it rained, we were all able to have plenty of space to hang out. The covered deck was great as well as the two living spaces. Because of the rain we didn't get to light a fire outside but we were able to gather at the picnic table (outside) during the mornings for coffee while we watched the deer across the field. There is an acorn tree close the the house and acorns would fall pretty often and hit our cars & windshields. We moved our cars back a little so this wasn't a problem for long.

Overall pretty good, but unlike other plaxes we've rented there was not much provided. No water, soap, shampoo, condiments. About the only thing there was was salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Was private and very family friendly with bedrooms and kitchens on both floors. Not as close to Mammoth Cave visitor center as I had hoped. Not very clean.

The home was lovely and very spacious and was in a beautiful setting. There were a few minor issues, but nothing that we couldn't overcome.

The cabin was amazing and in the perfect location. Even thought the state park was closed the fire pit and nature gave us plenty to do. The cabin was clean and the host was very responsive. We already said when we come back we want to book this cabin again…. It was just amazing!!

The toilet upstairs did not flush. Spider webs on the front light and back screened in porch like it has been vacant for a while. Refrigerator upstairs started leaking the second day so had to move it out and turn off the water, so we had no ice.

Property was listed as 16 miles from mammoth cave park Would be vital to add that it is actually 42 minutes We had additional family in cave city, which was a haul for them with their young children Both grills are unusable We loved the room and outside areaDinosaur World was fun for the kids Lost river cave was worth the trip as well as Kentucky down under

Family from 3 states came together to visit and see Mammoth Cave and Nashville. The house was very comfortable and located a short walk from trails and the water in Nolan State park. It’s located away from everything and very quiet, but also a fairly quick drive to stores and food. We enjoyed our time there very much! We especially enjoyed watching the rabbits and deer eat breakfast every morning from the large porch!!

Our family came from PA, TN & VA to visit Mammoth Cave NP and visit with each other. Besides the NP we were anxious to spend time at nearby Nolin Lake - the weather did not cooperate. It was either 95 degrees with high humidity or thunder storming so we didn't swim, hike or rent a boat as we had hoped. We were happy to have such a nice property to hang out in though. (We did get enough dry time to grill our burgers and dogs.)

The house was nice having 2 separate living spaces. Loved the screened in porch on the back. Both refrigerators having ice makers was a blessing. Gas grill works but needs upgraded grates. Could add a place to park between the road and fire pit for boats. Small cars will have a hard time getting up driveway with the gravel. Great location and close to the boat ramp and beach within walking distance. A 4 min boat ride to the Moutardier Marina from the boat ramp.

The rental is a duplex with a 2-1 unit on each floor. The upstairs unit is bigger and has better finishes, and the upstairs has a screened in patio. Spacious enough for a large family. Very clean. Well-stocked kitchen. Getting to the upstairs unit requires climbing stairs. Host is a bit slow to respond to messages. A long walk or short drive to the beach. We would definitely stay here again if we wanted to visit Nolin Lake.

We stayed there to visit the mammoth cave national park, but were pleasantly surprised to be so close to a Kentucky State park (Nolan lake). Overall the inside was pretty clean and it had 2 kitchens if we had need them, would’ve been nice. Pros: really close to Mammoth Cave NP, good price, we were able to take the ferry across to the park (which I didn’t know about beforehand) , spacious for 8 people and had a good size yard for the kids to play in, and a campfire area. Cons: driveway was at a pretty steep slope, as well as the yard, back deck was a little dusty. Overall, the 8 people (5 adults and 3 children we had with us) fit pretty comfortably in the 4 rooms. We had a good time there.

Prior to arriving, the host messaged me with details on getting into the home as well as good places to eat and visit, and where to obtain firewood. Spacious campfire area with seating already available. Home was spacious and clean with all linens provided. I do wish I had researched more prior because it is a dry county, so we had to drive about 40 mins one way to get adult beverages, but also had to get groceries, and there was a grocery store there, so it worked out. Also wish I had requested extra linens. There was one towel and wash rag for each of the 8 of us for 2 nights. Would stay here, again, if in the area.
