Buena Vista Retreat: Steps To Arkansas River!

The house was wonderful, right on the Arkansas River, with great views out of every window! The homeowners were very responsive. They clearly love and enjoy their home, and wanted to be sure we did too. We did!

Exceptional property! Lots of sitting areas for settling in with a book, TV, or great conversation. Kitchen is well stocked for those who choose to cook. The multiple decks overlooking the river are the perfect place to relax. Unfortunately for us, it rained and/or was too cold to enjoy the decks this trip. But we will be back!

The property is fantastic given its location right on the river. The lower deck was great to enjoy drinks and apps before dinner. It also allowed the wives to read in the loungers while the husbands were fly fishing right there in sight. So they got to experience the excitement of catching a few nice trout. The kitchen is extremely well stocked not only with utensils and appliances, but also with spices/oils. Easy drive into Buena Vista and close to multiple hikes to lakes/waterfalls. We all wished we were staying longer and hope to return someday.

We have stayed at this place a couple of times now. We love it. It is very relaxing setting on the deck and listening to the river rush by. The rooms are great, very clean. Can't say enough about it. We would definitely stay here again.

After reading the comments of previous renters and viewing the photos online we had high expectations of this rental; we were not disappointed. River Song hits on all of the major things you look for in a vacation rental; it's clean, comfortable, well-equipped and has a fantastic location, next to the Arkansas River. But it also scores on the little things you really do not consider when you book your rental. We were continually discovering little details the owners had considered for their guests. Of all of the dozens of vacation rentals we have stayed at over the years, this is probably one of the most well-stocked kitchens we have encountered. I had a full agenda to keep our family busy for our entire four-day stay (not enough time) but, on the last day, everyone just wanted to hang out at the house and enjoy the property.And the spaces were incredible. There was a living room and a deck for every member of our family with plenty of space to get together as a group but also space to spread out if you wanted some time to yourself. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. When you open the windows you can hear the gentle roar of the Arkansas River from every room. I would confidently recommend River Song for your get-away to the Buena Vista area.

Three couples chose this wonderful house for a Memorial Day Weekend getaway and couldn't have been happier. The perfect spot for relaxing and spending time with friends. The location is amazing: right on the river to hear the rushing water, watch the kayakers and floaters go by, read/relax on the multiple deck spaces, watch the birds, deer, chipmunks go by. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. No need to bring any of the basics (oil, salt, sugar, spices...) and all the kitchenware you would ever use. We stayed in for two of the nights and enjoyed our dinner on the deck watching the sunset.The house is beautifully decorated, but still cozy. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. We didn't want to leave and will hopefully return in the future.

House and location were great. House was clean and ready upon arrival. Excellent kitchen and dining setup. Decks and river access are top notch. Fun location with hiking, close to town and easy to get too.

Every single thing was thought about for this property. It has charm, warmth, slept a family of 4 plus a grand mother very comfortably, and was an absolute stunner of a location. 10 stars.

Our group of 4 lifelong friends decided to meet up in Buena Vista for a few days. The house is in the most peaceful environment and full of spots to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds. Communication from the owner was fantastic. I would love to return in the future and highly recommend RiverSong house to anyone considering.

We had a wonderful late-summer stay in BV at this beautiful home. So many outdoor activities to enjoy ,highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The amount of outdoor seating with views of the river/mountains along with all of the interior amenities were fabulous. It was very convenient to head into downtown BV each day, or even walk into town for breakfast. Wonderful host with a very helpful guide on the area and things to do. I would highly recommend staying here!

This house right on the river is beautiful and takes advantage of the setting with loads of windows and multiple seating locations outside including one at river level. The downstairs has a large en suite bedroom, sitting area and TV, and outside door and deck. Ground level has one queen room with bath next to it and two separate shared sitting areas. Perfect for two couples who like some privacy. Upstairs are twin beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor grill worked great. This is a clean, well appointed home in a great location and I hope to come back again.

We had such a great stay at Riversong. The cabin in beautiful and has everything you might need during your stay. Being right by the river was amazing. This was our favorite rental by far. The house was clean and inviting. You feel like your secluded even though your just a short drive from town. There is so much to do nearby. We can't wait to stay again. We already want to start planning our next stay.
