Bright Beautiful Ocean Front Home

Incredible location! We have been going to OIB for 30 years but this was our first stay at the end of the island and it was amazing! The house was perfect! Very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I can’t say that about most places we have stayed. Thank you to the Carpenters for sharing your lovely home!

Our family has been coming to Ocean Isle annually for over 20 years and we love the quiet East End of the island. This was our first year staying in this home and we loved it. Nothing beats being able to walk out the door and straight into the sand. The layout was great for our 2 families with kids and we felt like we had plenty of space. The kitchen had nearly everything you could need and more. Our extended family booked the other half of the duplex and it worked out great for us. Communicating with the host was very easy and made the whole trip seamless. We've already booked again for next year!

It was very clean when we arrived. It was large enough so the 9 of us were not on top of each other. The beach was not crowded. We loved that the kids could go onto the beach and we could watch them from the deck. The house was decorated very bright and beachy. We will definitely be back in the future. We would recommend your beach house to anyone.

This is a very nice duplex located on an uncrowded beach. The wall you share with the neighbors must be well insulated because we never heard our neighbors. We will rent the house again.

This is such a perfect beach house: I almost want to keep it a secret! The floor plan works well for our family gathering: the spacious great room, thoroughly stocked kitchen, and well designed bedroom/bath combinations make our vacation comfortable and easy. Our hosts obviously care very much about the house and make upgrades each year, keeping it clean & bright & beautiful. They are very welcoming and respond quickly to any questions we have. This is our third year here: guess that says it all!

This is our first time in this house and will want to return next year! Very well supplied and you can just bring your clothes and move in! Love the beach and fewer crowds at this end of the beach.

We really loved that house and how it was set up. Things that we appreciated and made our stay easier: 1. The outdoor shower was amazing. Having so many hooks for your towels in it was a small detail that goes along way. 2. Having a full size washer and dryer is an added perk. 3. The deck had plenty of chairs and comfortable chairs. Rocking chairs are fantastic! 4. The kitchen was completely stocked and labeled. There were so many plates, silverware, pots, pans, knives that we didn’t have to worry about washing everything to get through a meal. 5. Having consumable supplies in the house was something we weren’t expecting. It was nice to have hand soap, dishwasher, tabs, foil, etc. 6. The Dyson sweeper was handy. You didn’t have to lug out full-size sweeper when you needed to pick up something. 7. There were plenty of places to put things. The desk downstairs was nice, the buffet against the wall was good storage. The home was very spacious and had plenty of room for 11 of us not to be in each other’s way.
