Bright & Beachy 3 bed/2 bath Soundside MP6

The property was clean and accommodating. My kids really enjoyed their time here. The kitchen was stocked with cooking wares and limited seasonings. There is bikes, grill and hammock. Love the trees surrounding the house. There are a lot shopping centers and groceries for anything needed. The only thing I will recommend is king size bed for the master bedroom, there is enough space for it, a pullout coach and removing the carpet for a hardwood flooring.

Nice, quiet and relaxing location located right between the ocean and the bay. This property is clean, well maintained, and offers everything you will need for a pleasant stay. We would not hesitate to book this again on our next trip back to OBX.

What a gem! This property was so clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Our family of five (three young kids) felt safe and right at home here. Easy parking, everything you could need in the kitchen and plenty of chairs around the table. We truly hope to stay again during a future OBX getaway!

Everything was very nice. We had a couple of issues. The first one we could not switch the thermostat from heat to cool. Last night it was 79 degrees inside with windows open and fans on. The second was that we could not get any channels on the TV. We ended up watching old reruns on Tubi.

This cottage was perfect for our Thanksgiving break. Not only was it just right for our family it was peaceful and relaxing.

This house is in a great spot to explore all that the Outer Banks has to offer. Our second stay here and enjoyed it. Bonus for the weather being perfect too!!

Great as always, this was our fourth visit in three years at the property. The kids love coming, and the proximity to the beach and good food makes it easy to come back.

Great place

Great central location for the Outer Banks. We were able to visit Corolla, Duck, Bodie lighthouse, and the Wright Brothers National Memorial. It’s also close enough to the beach.

Beautiful place. Even nicer than it looks in the photos. Nice appliances and grill. Dishwasher was a big plus in a beach house. Great location short drive from ocean beach. Walk or bike to sound-side pier for amazing sunsets. Hosts responded quickly and helpfully to questions about approaching hurricane. Great experience overall. One tip: There’s no household recycling pickup, but Kill Devil Hills has a public recycling center a short drive from the house where you can drop off metal, glass, and paper. No permit or proof of residency required.

We absolutely loved our stay! Kyle and Megan were great and so easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for our family of 4. So convenient to the beaches, shopping and great restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area of OBX

When they describe this as bright and beachy, they were dead on! We walked in and it was clean and welcoming, and absolutely perfect for our stay at the Outer Banks.

Great property for our 1st stay in OBX. Accommodations perfect for our family of 6 with enough space to not feel on top of each other. Only downfall of the property was its unwalkable location to the beach. As a first timer in OBX we didn't realize how busy the highway was with limited access to crosswalks. We had to load up our car each day and park at public beach access. However, parking was super close and we didn't have issues not finding a parking spot. Outdoor grill was one of the perks of this property. We loved being able to grill for dinner. Additional access to beach items was also a huge win, we loved we didn't have to pack beach chairs. We totally recommend this property and would stay again.

Kyle and Megan were perfect host and truly have a lovely place. They’ve thought of everything and even a few extras. Bright and Beachy describes it to a T! Clean and comfortable, relaxing and roomy, and fun for the family are other descriptives I’d use. We are already planning our next stay.

It’s a great house, perfect for our family of four. Easy spot to get around OBX from and exactly what we were looking for.

Wonderful place to stay!

The accommodations were great, but there were some things that could have been cleaner that would have made our stay better.

The house was beautiful, and well kept. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet and overall nice.

Everything was as expected and real clean. We had no problems and enjoyed our stay. The location made our gett4ing around very easy. We will see if they have our dates open next year. Thank you so much.

This is our third time staying at this property. The location is great - short drives to groceries, restaurants, and access to the beach. There's a reason we make it a point to try and come every year at this location. Its perfect for our family of four.

It was perfect. The house is beautiful, light & uncluttered. The Hosts provide a welcome basket with little extras & it’s so thoughtful & very much appreciated. 10/10 recommend.

The property was in a perfect location for us. I normally run the half marathon but could not this year and the location allowed us to support all the runners. Clean and well maintained it suited all our needs. Definitely will stay again in the future if available.

We enjoyed everything at Bright & Beachy. The name describes it! It was super clean, super comfortable with many small touches that added a lot to our stay. This was our meeting place with our friends from England and they were just as delighted to be staying there as we were. Will be booking there again!

Had such a fantastic time! House was so cute, bright, and airy. Was refreshing! The hammock was so very relaxing. The welcome basket was very helpful. Enjoyed both the sunrises and sunsets, and looking up at stars from balcony. Was hard to leave.

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and the beach house was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of the island - halfway to the Sound, and halfway to the ocean. (You can walk to the Sound; the ocean is a short - 3 minutes - drive away.) Lots of shops and restaurants all around. I was surprised at how quickly we could go from Kill Devil Hills to Kitty Hawk or Nags Head. So simple. The house itself was in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and nicely decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches, like a basketful of throw blankets in the living area and a book of tips and suggestions ranging from care of the house to what to do in the local area. The fridge also had laminated magnets detailing Wi Fi and check out information - very helpful. We used the two beach chairs (we had forgotten ours) and the outdoor hose for rinsing our feet and the shells we picked up. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and we were given plenty of starter items that lasted us through the week, such as hand soap and detergent. All in all, a very lovely home and a memorable week at the OBX. We enjoyed our walks through the neighborhood down to the Sound to watch the sunset, and sitting out on the deck in the morning. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The house is well stocked, cozy and comfortable. We stayed here a few years ago and came back this year.

This is a really nice well maintained property with plenty of space. I loved the quiet of being sound-side but still just a short walk to the beach. If you don’t mind an extra 5 minutes on your walk to the beach, I highly recommend this property. 3 bedrooms 2 baths conveniently located near the main attractions for a fraction of what you would pay for oceanfront. And the host were gracious and helpful with good suggestions for local fare

This cottage was adorable. It was very clean and the owners communicated very well. Easy check in. It was also quiet which my husband and I appreciate. Great location to beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.
