The Space:

'The Palms' is a completely restored unit on the second floor of a historic Charleston home. Relax with the added privacy and quiet of the top floor.



The Palms can accommodate up to 13 guests between 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, large kitchen, and living room.

Guest Access:

Each unit is equipped with coded locks that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.



Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock near the pool for all Spring Islands guests to use as needed. We welcome guests to use the pool while they await their check-in.

Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $125 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).



Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

    It was as it was advertised. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for the six of us to hang either or inside our outside. The kitchen was equipped nicely, though we only cooked breakfast twice. The pool was nice and warm and the chairs were comfortable. We would definitely book this again.

    We Truly enjoyed our stay in Charleston and mostly because of how great this place was. The location was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed for the week. We only had a couple issues while we were there, and management was responsive. The ceiling fan stopped working in the back bedroom and one of the shower drains wasn't working correctly. Other than that, it was very convenient to everything and worked out great for our crew. We would definitely stay again if in Charleston.

    This property was perfect for what we were looking for. House was clean, everyone had a bed and bath. Only downside was the noise below us. They brought a dog and it was barking most of the evening. I contacted our host and it resolved the problem. I definitely recommend this prooerty.

    We had a fantastic stay at this house in Charleston! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the main shopping street and so central to everything we wanted to do. The hosts were incredibly responsive and communicative; I messaged them a couple of times throughout the day, and they always replied right away.The house itself was super clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels and extra amenities for all of our guests. The number of bathrooms compared to bedrooms was ideal, which made everything really convenient for our group. And the pool area was such a fun bonus—we spent a lot of time enjoying it!Honestly, I couldn’t leave a better review if I tried. Would absolutely stay here again!

    Perfectly located to be able to walk to coffee shops and bites while still being a tad from the nosie of nightlife. I love reading reviews that are honest when youre trying to plan a trip. Especially if youre like me and want to research everything beforehand. The listing was pretty accurate. Each bedroom had a bathroom attached ( one bedroom has bathroom directly outside of room.) The only one thing Id like to say that if youre not a great sleeper or like to day nap bring a noise machine. The people below us accidentally set off some alarm twice and by the pool cn get noisy for 2 back bedrooms as everyone was having a grear time at the pool. There were 2 noise machines and ear plugs so i just bought one from Amazon for me and another girl while we were there and they got delivered that day. Also they said there was an iron i couldnt find one so also bought a steamer for the trip and left it there for the next person. A girls trip without one is hard. Not big problems at all clearly. I would definitely love to cone back again! Loved the porch for bedore dinner cocktails.

    Went with family to prepare for a wedding in the summer. Loved that each bedroom had it’s own bathroom. The communication with the property manager was quick and easy and the place was spotless. We wished the weather would have been a little better so we could have enjoyed the balcony and pool!
