Bonnie Dune - 2 BR/2.5 BA Oceanfront home on South Beach!

This was our second stay at Bonnie Dune. It's a wonderful house and extremely well maintained. We can't wait for our next visit!

The rear door lock is not working correctly. Hard to open and close the rear door. Could not open the rear door with the key. I had to use the key on the front door to get in.

Beautiful house...perfect week for my sister and me! House was well maintained and when we needed something, the maintenance man came right over! We will definitely stay at this house again.

owner has done a great job providing provisions for the house. nothing was lacking and we had everything we needed. Super clean and well maintained property. The only suggestion would be to replace the grill. igniter on the right side does not work and this type of grill does not have direct flame on the meat.

We absolutely loved staying here. Wonderful location and such a well-appointed house. The property management was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to coming back.

My husband and I had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay at Bald Head Island with our dog Maisy. The house was so cozy and had everything you could want. We would love to go back!

What a wonderful property. If was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some us time. Can’t wait to return.

We loved the proximity to the ocean- a boardwalk right in front of the house! The views from upstairs porch were lovely and we had coffee there each day. The golf cart was well maintained and very nice. The house was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked. A lot of restaurants change hours after Labor Day so be sure to check the days and times if you come after Labor Day. We had great meals at The Shoals club! Thank you for having a lovely pet-friendly rental! We had a blast!!

We loved the quaintness of Bonnie Dune, from the moment we walked in we felt relaxed & ready to unwind! Every day we alternated beach & BHI club pool and the convenience & proximity of both made our entire trip so seamless. We made sure to climb Old Baldy, watch the Herons roost (so magical!), catch almost every sunset, and Jonathan even participated in the weekly 5K race! We loved our stay on BHI and can’t wait to visit Bonnie Dune again! (P.S. The balcony porch was an amazing spot to paint… I am an artist and it could not have been a more picturesque setting!) Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect for our family of two adults, two kids under 10, and a dog. The decor was welcoming, beachy, comfortable, and perfectly coordinated. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, books, games, and beach chairs and toys. The best views were from the master bedroom balcony on the second floor because the dunes are high. We enjoyed eating out on the screened porch on the first floor. We appreciated having access to both clubs and the fact that they were equidistant from the house. It was also nice being so close to the market. The golf cart was great; although we wished it had had rain protection while we weathered Tropical Storm Debby! Needless to say, it wasn't ideal vacationing during a tropical storm, but this home was so lovely that it made everything okay!

Reviewer Comments: This home is the best oceanfront vacation home we’ve ever stayed at - home is beautiful, location is quiet, views are spectacular, beach access is private, beach is not crowded and very peaceful, and the home has everything you need - 2 bathrooms (one with a tub so it can handle little ones), an outside shower, fantastic kitchen with tons of supplies, excellent washer and dryer, beach chairs, some sand toys, etc. Can’t recommend this home enough!

We loved staying at Bonnie Dune. We have stayed here 5 times and it just keeps getting better. The house is well equipped for a family. The kitchen is great for cooking and interacting with the family. It is a nice central location with a beautiful beach. We can’t wait to come back.
