Blue Sky- Private Heated Pool -Across from Beach Access - Two Units - Three Porches

The location, porches, and private pool were all positive. The house was not very clean, it smelled extremely musty, and the pool heater was broken.

Found this Gem of a place for are 86 yr. Old Mother and her two daughters and two grand daughters and two little great granddaughters to celebrate a girls long weekend. With the two unit it gave us space to have the little ones down stairs. We loved playing games at the table on the screened porch every night( that was our favorite place). I also loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch and listening to the waves. The girls loved swimming in the pool every day. We cooked a lot and found all the necessary dishes and plenty of salt/pepper that we needed. Laundry, dish soap, bathroom soap and towels were all plenty for all of us. Beds were very nice. We did have an issue with the pool heater and it was addressed immediately. Very good communication. We will definitely be coming back here if our daughter stays living in Charleston. Or if we just need another trip!

We had a good time. The beach was nice and the neighborhood was quiet. It was clean and the decks were wonderful. They might need an upgrade on the couches soon.

Wow! We had a fabulous time at Blue Sky and have already recommended this home to friends. The location to beach access, the pool for when we needed a break from the sand, and the proximity to the local hot spots were just a few of our absolute favorite parts of this home. Not to mention the overall cleanliness of the home and comfort of the beds!! And that view…what a view!!A great five days spent in Folly Beach, and a lifetime of memories created!! Now back to Ohio for school and work … sigh :)

The house was exactly what I think a beach house should be! We loved the variety of hangout spaces. The management company was great to work with. The location was perfect - very close walk to the beach. And even though it’s not oceanfront, we could easily see the ocean. The pool and yard were great - we were surprised how often the pool was cleaned and the yard worked on during our stay.We would definitely recommend and book this house again

We absolutely loved our stay on Folly Beach! The house is optimally located with beach access across the street and a short walk to the shops and restaurants in town. Plenty of room for our group, and loved the multiple indoor and outdoor common areas to gather. The heated pool was awesome as well. We had one minor issue with the heat in the pool but once it was reported the management was very responsive and fixed it right away. Highly recommended!

The house has two individual places in one, which is nice when traveling with different families. The house was clean and the porches were amazing! We loved the pool too. Cannot go wrong with this house!

House is in a great location right across from the beach and a public access area. Heated pool is newer and very nice, but the chairs around it are old and moldy. Screened in porches are also nice. Overall the interior is worn. Furniture is totally worn out and needs replacement. Kitchen is very tired, cabinets are sticky, chipped, and several doors/drawers are broken. Nothing to store food in, we had to buy our own Tupperware. Beds were pretty comfortable. Downstairs bathroom was not clean at all, lots of hair, and the shower curtain was moldy. The downstairs washer has a bunch of residue/gunk buildup in it. They refunded the cleaning fee and brought a new shower curtain which we appreciated. The entire place has a very musty/mildewy smell which we had to burn candles and spray Lysol to try and dissipate. I fear the place may have mold. Overall it’s a great property but needs some love.

Close to beach access and not too far from town. We did rent golf carts which were very handy. Not the best weather which obviously can’t be controlled, so we opted to pay extra some days for the pool to be heated. Pool area and pool could be cleaner. Also did not realize there are two separate entrances up and downstairs. Likely in the details but wanted to point out. It worked for our family but may not for others. Overall, we very much enjoyed and would return again !

The Blue Sky property was an excellent choice to experience everything there is to offer on Folly Beach. The home provided us with a very comfortable living space for the eight of us. The screened-in porches were great as gathering spots. We took advantage of the nice pool in the backyard and the close proximity to the ocean. The Folly community was great and we took advantage of the available restaurants in town. Thumbs up!

The location, across the street from the beach, was amazing. Having the pool in the backyard meant not getting sandy every time we wanted to play outside. The house is clean, with plenty of hooks for hanging wet things. The outdoor shower kept sand in the house to a minimum. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the 10 of us. One evening we had a very fun dumpling making class with Sarah (sarahsdumps.com) and another night, a tasty catered birthday dinner (seedstospoons.com). We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful visit to Folly Beach. Relaxing, convenient home with a terrific pool and right across from the beach! Will return again.
