I was really impressed with the communication. There was construction on many of the houses around us but with the open communication the entire time we were not bothered by the little things like some work being done. The host was super welcoming. The area was perfect. The house and backyard were perfect for my family. We stay in Tennessee often And this will be a go to in future stays

Everything was perfect! The home was very clean, decorated beautifully, fully stocked with more than what we expected and so many comfortable areas to relax! The fenced yard was perfect for our little dogs and having parking behind the home was such a bonus! The location was perfect as well! The home is close enough to walk to the downtown Franklin area and an easy drive to Nashville! We look forward to our next visit!!

Great location from downtown Franklin, The Factory, and historical sites. We loved the enjoyable walk downtown for breakfast at the Frothy Monkey. We also attended the Grand Ole Opry for their 100 year anniversary night which was awesome! Getting around from our home base was easy and enjoyable. The Blakely’s Stone Cottage was comfortable for the four of us adults (room to spare, with a set of bunks that were not even used), and we had along two small fur babies, who enjoyed a fenced in back yard. We had everything we needed, as far as equipment and serving pieces to prepare a lovely Thanksgiving meal! We would highly recommend this awesome home for a family gathering in the quaint community of Franklin!

We had a nice stay in this home that was in close proximity to the main square. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed the peace and quiet of the community. If you like history (as we do), you can explore the site of the Battle of Franklin just a short distance down the road.

Our family stayed in the Blakely’s Stone Cottage for two nights and it was perfect. We are local to the area and needed a place to stay during a move. The house was exactly what we needed. We were able to bring our two dogs and our whole family relaxed for two days while we waited for our new house to be ready. The house is historic and has been lovingly updated. The historic charm has been preserved while allowing for modern updates. It was clean and comfortable and had plenty of space for the 6 of us. The host was very responsive and kind. This would be a perfect spot to come and explore Franklin and rest at the end of the day.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect—close to downtown Franklin, but still quiet and peaceful. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches the host provided, like stocked spice cabinets, plenty of towels, games, books and yoga mats. My favorite parts were the two separate living groom areas and reading/ exercise room that overlooked the neighborhoods. Communication with the host was seamless. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check-in and enjoyable stay. This is one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for a fantastic trip!

We had an amazing time staying in Blakely’s Stone Cottage. It was very convenient to downtown Franklin. The hosts were amazing and kept in contact with us making sure things were good throughout our stay. Of course the house is historical, but on the inside it had all the comforts of a newer home. Very clean and nice. We would definitely stay there again!

We adored the quaint charm of this lovely 1930s built bungalow. The hosts were wonderfully communicative. Being former VRBO owners ourselves, we know the extra effort it takes to truly make a property feel like home, and their effort is deeply appreciated. The property is located very close to downtown Franklin, a mere few minute, walk to the main two circles. We hosted Thanksgiving for our family of 4+2 additional family members. There were ample rooms for privacy for all. No lack of hot water, place settings, or diversions for guests of all ages. The hosts ensure that there are games, puzzles, electronics, books and smart TVs that may be enjoyed by all. An additional touch, the coffee bar is stellar. Not knowing whether or not the kitchen would be appropriately stocked to host such a daring meal, The only thing I wish I had was a knife sharpener and a meat thermometer. Understand that the stone building is nearly 100 years old. Tastefully, decorated and renovated, the floors are a little creaky and modern amenities took creative efforts to install, but this does not take anything away from the property. The home straddles a gentrified section of Franklin. We felt very secure with the police department down the street any fenced in yard that our dog spent hours exploring. The photos are true to the home's condition. Should her family ever need a VRBO in the future, we would absolutely return.

This house was just what we were looking for. First, it was in a fantastic location, a ½ mile walk from downtown Franklin, TN. We loved looking at the lovely 1800’s homes, beautifully restored, along Main Street as we walked into downtown. The location was also convenient for trips into Nashville, an easy 20-mile drive. We drove off the main highway into Nashville several times so we could enjoy seeing all the pretty properties on the way. Secondly, the house itself was great. It was remodeled and had a newer kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There were 2 family rooms with TVs, one upstairs, one down. It was just the 2 of us, but I could see how this house would be an excellent choice for 2 families. The house was very clean and tidy, and there was a laundry room – one of my “must haves” on longer vacations. Maybe most important to the success of our stay were our hosts. Dan and Amy communicated well - from the time our reservation was made to the day we left. They checked in to see if we had any questions/needs after arrival, they suggested a walk we might like, and they sent us a reminder when we left. They even provided a framed postcard of Franklin as a souvenir of our stay. A very thoughtful team. We would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Franklin or the surrounding areas.
