Billfish Bungalow - 4 mi to downtown & 6 mi beach

The host was very responsive and understanding when I had questions. Everything was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We had a wonderful time in a lovely and conveniently located home.

Great location, very dog friendly with nice fenced in yard and sweet neighborhood to walk around and super comfy beds!

We had a wonderful week in Charleston! The Billfish Bungalow was perfect for our family, including our fur baby. The rooms were very clean, beds were very comfy and each had a fan, which was nice. The living space was the perfect size, and backyard was super cute and nicely fenced in. The kitchen is still missing a teapot ;) but everything else one needed to cook meals was there! Would definitely stay again!

Great location and beautiful comforting house, but could use new cleaners for the property as there were a few issues there, owners did address.

We stayed 6 nights. Located 15 minutes to Folly Beach and 10 minutes to Charleston downtown. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is small but adequate. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Went for morning walks. Kitchen was adequate for our needs. Nice living room setup for watching TV. Great communication with owners. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was in the perfect location. It is a quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone to sit. The shower has great water pressure and we never ran out of hot water (7 people). Loved that we could bring our dog (Rottweiler) and it had a fenced in backyard. Highly recommend this house. Michael and Kelly were awesome too.

Loved the house and the neighborhood. The yard was a wonderful bonus. Neighbors were very friendly so a great place to walk and talk. And very accessible to downtown Charleston and Johns Island. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a very nice stay. It was a convenient location because we have family on James Island but wanted to be able to get in and out of Charleston. There were 5 of us and the only drawback was the 1 bathroom but we were well aware of this going into our stay. Clean, roomy and comfortable!

We had a great stay here for a long weekend visit to Charleston. Conveniently located, very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive. We definitely will go back on our next trip to Charleston and highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Billfish Bungalow. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and our kids loved having a backyard to run around in. The house was in a great location, close to everything we wanted to see as well as good restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen was missing some essentials like a kettle, dish clothes, towels, pot holders and oven mitts. Other than that, it was wonderful!

The house was close to Folly beach and downtown Charleston. Kelly, the host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

We had doctors appointments in Charleston, so we decided to spend a few days in the area. The house was very convenient for our needs. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts, Kelly and Michael, were very accessible and responded in a most timely manner to any communication.

We wanted to stay at a spot between Charleston and Folly and this place was the perfect in-between. Everything was clean and tidy and we had plenty of room for our family.

I enjoyed my stay. This is a nice property on James Island. It was as represented. I will be back.

We love James Island and this home is in the heart of it. It was everything we were looking for! It felt like home away from home! The fenced back yard is perfect when traveling with your fur babies. The neighborhood is great for walking as well. This cute home is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There is a small pond by the deck and driveway that was beautiful with water lily’s in vibrant bloom every morning! We had great and prompt communication with Kelly, the host. The dryer stopped working and was fixed the same day. We would love to come back to this property in the near future and recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in this area.

The property was as advertised! It was clean and was close enough to DT Charleston and Folly Beach to make going to either of them less than 15 minutes depending on traffic. There are several grocery stores and some decent restaurants nearby, overall it was a great experience.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this home in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach.

Updates to property are top notch, and the location is central for quick access to dining/shopping. Baguette Magic is very close and was a favorite for breakfast. Fenced in yard with doggy door was very convenient.
