In a word...EXTRAORDINARY!!! Everything from the wonderful hostess (Ana), who by the way left beautiful flowers in the kitchen area and also the entertainment area, to the well stocked kitchen and a bottle of wine! We wished we could have stayed much longer as there were so many wonderful books, movies and music to chose from. To add to the view, there were deer, quail and the amazing view. Will most definitely love to stay there again. Elaine T.

Five of us stayed and thoroughly enjoyed the unique stone house. So comfortable and we had everything we needed. The outside setting is spectacular and loved enjoying the amazing views. Our host was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. Would definitely return!

We’ve spent a wonderful weekend here with my wife! This house is unique given its peaceful location, views and layout. Soaking in the outdoor bath tub or stargazing at night is so relaxing. House is very well equipped and has everything for a great stay, surely be happy to come back! Thank you Ana for hosting us!

If you want a secluded getaway with 180 degree ocean views and modern comfort, than this is the place for you. And if you like movies or books, there is a large and varied collection to choose from. Great for just a couple or 6 friends/family members. Fair warning: it is very straight-forward to get there but remote so bring your own food supplies and enjoy the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy!

My family and I (8 adults total -they made a special acceptation for us for an extra fee) had a lovely stay at the Big Sur Stone house celebrating my daughter and my birthday. This beautiful location can not be beat - the outdoor set up is great and we spent a lot of time outdoors. Note the outdoor tub only accommodates 2 people at a time. The indoor areas are sufficient, one downside being that the bedroom in the kitchen section is not private and is open to the kitchen, which was not ideal. However, we wanted time away with each other in a peaceful and beautiful environment and we got that here. Cleanliness given 4 stars because this is a remote location and inevitably dust gets into the house. Also the kitchen could use a deep cleaning. Pros of the kitchen are the appliances (note the fridge makes noise running at night, which is tough for light sleepers - we used a fan and white noise machine to block the sound), the numerous spices onsite, and the pots and pans were good quality. We also had lots of fun playing games at the table in the living room that comfortably accommodated all of us. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with gorgeous views and are amenable to the uniqueness of an off-grid place, this might be the place for you.

We had a small family gathering and this property worked out perfectly for us. Ana was excellent with her communication and we arrived well informed for our stay. Good wifi and no problems getting calls. We even got to stream the season opener of our local AHL team without any issues. Sunsets are gorgeous and the coastal views are breathtaking.

Wow. What a gorgeous property situated overlooking some of the most beautiful coastline I've ever seen. Ana's house is exceptionally well-equipped, cleanly, and gorgeous, and her communication was stellar. I would stay here again and again--highly recommend!
