Beautiful, Tranquil Woodstock Mountain House in the Middle of 4 Wooded Acres

Tranquil, beautiful location. Well-kept house with comfortable beds, comfortable seating, and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces and places in which to spend time together, or separately.

We enjoyed our stay at David’s place and it was exactly as described! Unfortunately we were there during the polar vortex and the land was covered with snow,would love to see it in the spring. Communication with David was excellent and the hot tub was a great. A couple of skips and your in the town of Woodstock and not to far from Saugerties! Overall highly recommended

My wife and I really enjoyed this home. David is an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable while being snowed-in after a major storm. We found Woodstock to be a great town and the perfect home base for exploring the quaint towns in the Catskills and Hudson Valley.

Beautiful, cozy cabin nestled in the woods - beautiful in the snow! Great location to disconnect and still be close to town. Would return again when it’s warmer.

House was very comfortable. Everything was well kept and clean. Kitchen was a bit smaller than expected but it was fine. Loved having 2 separate living areas with their own fireplaces. Location was a bit confusing to find but we got the knack of it. Loved having a screened in porch. Host was very prompt in answering any questions

The house is cozy while having everything you need in a getaway. Views out to trees out of every window. Screened in porch was a particularly lovely feature. It was comfortably furnished as the entire house was. David was attentive to every need.Secluded but also near town. Great.

We had a lovey time at this home. The decor is tasteful, comfortable, and cozy. The bedrooms were large and there was a small living room with a fireplace and a large great room with a very easy to use gas stove. We had cozy evenings with the fire going. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean even for picky me. David was easy to work with and laid back but responsive. We will definitely return!

Really loved the stay. Very remote feeling location. Hot tub was excellent.

Place was perfect for what we needed. The lockbox was not easy to find and was not well lit. We arrived after dark and minimal amount of lighting was provided. Fee of $125 for Vrbo is ridiculously high. Cleaning fee for that area is also high. Our office gets cleaned where I work and she cleans 3 hours for $100. All they have to do is change the sheets and wiped down a bathroom.

Really wonderful location; the first thing we ntoiced was how quiet and secluded the house was, yet we were only a 5 minute car drive from the center of Woodstock. Couldn't be better. The house is large, though a bit old, but the owner was very amenable and responsive to all our requests.

Great rustic home in a very secluded setting in the mountains above Woodstock. 6 minutes to eclectic popular town of Woodstock with shops and great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the screened in porch and some ping pong. The AC units are not in bedrooms so it could get a little warm in hotter weather, but we were mostly comfortable since it was cool for July and the house is nicely shaded.
