The Hidden Hideaway has outside dining overlooking the private lake, fishing (catch and release only) washer, dryer, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit ( firewood sold nearby) porch swing, Pit Boss Grill, and a private paved drive for kiddos to ride bikes, scooters, etc. I supply initial amounts of dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, and paper towels. You need to bring your own HE laundry detergent. Note that there is no dishwasher on site so bring paper plates etc. for easy cleanup. Coming to the Hidden Hideaway offers many activities nearby or just a relaxing trip sitting on the porch swing enjoying the beautiful serene view to sitting by the campfire and stargazing the night sky.

The property is private and serene, a fantastic place to spend time as a family and relax. The bunk room has full sized beds so it sleeps 8. What a gorgeous and well kept home. If you plan to visit Mammoth Cave, book tours ahead of time or you aren’t allowed in. We did Crystal Onyx cave tour instead and it was enjoyed by all!
This property was absolutely beautiful! It would probably be even better in the summer. My only disappointment was we came here for a family Christmas get together and there was still fall decor (pumpkins) and no Christmas tree up. But everything else was great! I would recommend stopping at a grocery store before heading to the property because there are not many places to eat close by. You have to either eat at a store/gas station or drive 25-45 min to restaurants. Not a big deal but I figured that out the hard way. Also, check for ferry closures on the park website before heading to Mammoth Cave and definitely book your tickets in advance. The home itself was well stocked and comfortable with nice views. I would stay here again.
This was an amazing property. The house was beautiful the landscape was wide open and well-maintained couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The beaver moon coming up on the horizon was a pinnacle moment The owners were engaging and available and always polite. If you’re looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle, I recommend this place 1000 times. It was just what we needed. Can’t say enough about it
Great trip
