Come stay in this relaxing log home located just feet from the Yellowstone River! It is the perfect vacation -- fish all day or kick back on the river's edge or the south-facing porch. Just minutes away from the North Entrance of Yellowstone Park, this home makes a convenient day trip to the many attractions Yellowstone has to offer.

French doors open to a covered porch from both the master bedroom and the living room, with a wonderful view that overlooks the river and the Tom Miner Basin. This home has all of the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation, including a fully equipped kitchen, a large propane grill, a propane fire pit on the river, a jetted tub, and a large flat screen TV. The outdoor space is great for entertaining on those warm summer nights, and you will enjoy the indoor atmosphere for its charming Montana feel.

The huge main bedroom has two-story exposed log vaulted ceilings, gorgeous views of the river, a king sized bed and en suite bath with shower and jetted tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The second bathroom is located across the hall from the second bedroom and has a shower. Upstairs, in the loft, you will find three twin beds along with a table for game playing or additional dining. The living room has exposed, log vaulted ceilings and large picture windows that provide spectacular views and lots of light.

Fish the blue ribbon trout waters of the Yellowstone River. The land has 1200 feet of river frontage. Wildlife is abundant. Watch for elk, deer, eagles, pelicans, osprey, and more. The North entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only 25 minutes away. Chico Hot Springs is only 15 minutes away and the historic town of Livingston is 30 minutes away. You will feel right at home in this riverside retreat!

Notes:

**There is an exterior camera on the west side of the house, facing the river. Its only purpose is to monitor river conditions, primarily for fishing. It does not capture the fire pit area or other areas that guests typically use.
**The drive to Big Sky Resort is approximately 2 hours. The closest downhill skiing area is Bridger Bowl, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Our family of five had the most magical vacation stay at Paradise Rivers Edge. From the breathtaking views around the fire pit each night to the coziness of the fully equipped cabin, the trip was amazing. Close proximity to the north entrance of Yellowstone allowed for multiple day trips to experience the park. And each morning and evening we were steps away from some of the best trout fishing in the Yellowstone River. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We stayed here with two families and had a great time. The house has everything you need and the beds are so comfortable. We were able to fish along the river which was a huge hit for the husbands and kids. The owners were so easy to communicate with and they were very accommodating when we asked the other family to join us last minute. There was also lots of wildlife around the area which was very exciting to see. Definitely recommend this stay!

This was a lovely cabin. Very comfortable and with all the luxuries. It accommodated two couples and an 80 lbs. dog EASILY! The only thing better than the cabin was the Owner. Understanding, very communicative and complimentary on our efforts to treat his property better than we would even if it was ours! He noticed and took the time to thank us! Quality Owner!

This property, and our stay were fantastic. Well-located between Livingston and Yellowstone, yet still remote and private. Access to the river is easy, with good fishing. Everything inside the house is modern, clean and easy to use. Access to the host was easy and prompt. We'll be back. We highly recommend!

I can’t get that view of snow capped mountains outside the bedroom window out of my mind. That and the call of snow geese sailing past in a turquoise sky, and the music of the Yellowstone River measuring the minutes of the day. That’s what golden memories are made of. My wife and I and our 9 and 10-year-old grandsons were lucky to spend a week at Diane and Dan’s wonderful cabin on the river. It was everything they said it would be—and more. As a retired travel writer who spent more than 30 years on the staff at Southern Living Magazine, I’ve been lucky to have stayed in some amazing places over the years. The real test, I think, is whether it’s an experience that’s so extraordinary it glues itself to your memory to be cherished for years to come. I made a memory like that when I first visited Yellowstone with my parents when I was six. And I made another one just as good with our stay at Paradise River’s Edge in June. And judging from the smiles on my grandsons’ faces, I believe they are making memories of a special place that will stick with them for a lifetime too.

This was our first stay in Montana. I was hesitant to pay so much for just my husband & I to stay but we wanted somewhere secluded and quiet--where we could appreciate the beauty of nature around us and the cabin was perfect for that. Communication with the owners was outstanding. The location was super convenient for getting to Yellowstone--even though only a small portion of the park was open when we visited. The cabin is spacious and so very well appointed--they thought of everything! Overall, an excellent stay!

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. We did a few tours in Yellowstone, so it was only about a 25 minute drive to Gardiner, where we met our tour guide. We wanted something that felt secluded and that is what we got! The information provided by the host was detailed and helpful. The kitchen staples (flour, sugar, coffee filters, etc) made it so much easier, and cheaper, to shop and plan for our stay. The crock pot came in handy! I was able to start dinner and it was ready when we got back from Yellowstone for the day. The beds were incredibly comortable and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. The only negative was the master shower has low water pressure and the room is cold in the winter! (There may have been a space heater somewhere, but I didn't dig to find it.)Overall great stay and we have already recommended this cabin to friends!!!

Our family of 5 (kids aged 10, 17, and 20) really enjoyed our stay here and there was plenty of space for all of us. Off the beaten path for gorgeous peace and quiet and not heavily-traveled road perfect for training runs that we had to squeeze in even on vacation! Short trip to northern entrance of Yellowstone (only entrance open to private vehicles in winter) so we drove to Mammoth Springs and along Lamar Valley for wildlife viewing. Owner gave great recommendations including Park’s Fly Shop in Gardiner to rent snowshoes which worked out perfectly. Also hit Yellowstone Hot Springs (11 min from property) on the way back from Yellowstone to enjoy a good soak in the chilly air with the backdrop of the snowy mountains. Perfect! Loved seeing some deer on the slopes outside the dining room windows during breakfast one morning too! Lots of books and resources for your use in the house too which were very helpful for planning outings. Thanks so much!

This was our second time to stay at this property and everything was exactly as described in the listing. The house was clean and the property was well maintained. The view from the living room as well as the master bedroom was breathtaking. The fire pit overlooking the river made a great place to have a glass of wine after a long da!

We had the best vacation and stay in Paradise Valley! We spent 4 nights at the home with two couples and it was extremely comfortable and well suited for our group. We loved seeing bald eagles and elk locally, as well as enjoying the patio by the river and chatting with anglers as they went by. We cannot wait to plan our next trip!

The cabin was clean, comfortable and incredibly well stocked. Online photos and listing are very accurate. The views are absolutely amazing, and even prettier in person!! The location was perfect for access to Yellowstone. We enjoyed some local hikes (Pine creek falls and Passage creek falls), horseback riding with Wilderness Connections, and rafting with Wild West. The location on the river was perfect for fishing, and Dan was very helpful at his Sweetwater fly shop in assisting us in choosing appropriate flys. I will miss waking up to the sounds of the river, the birds, elk & deer, and the sun changing the shadows on the mountains. Coffee on the porch was paradise!
