I cannot even say enough good things about this property. Communication was superb, the house was clean and well stocked. A perfect, quiet retreat, but close enough to activities (horseback riding, rafting, UTV Rentals, etc. We didn't want to leave!

I have rented more properties in trips to Montana over the last 30 years than I can count. This is the third time I stayed at this house. Last year I stayed at the other property, which is much larger as we had a large group. say enough about the place. It has everything you could possibly need. It’s in a great location with a beautiful view. It’s a short ride to Livingston. I’d recommend driving down E. River Rd as it is much more scenic. The ride to Yellowstone is short and beautiful as well. On the rear occasion when I did have a question regarding their properties, they’ve been extremely prompt in responding. It’s really not a valid question because I really never had any issues with the properties. I really can’t say enough about the property.

The view from the house is breathtaking. There's nothing negative I can say about this home or location. The size was spacious, yet cozy. The hot tub, outdoor fire pit were so nice and easy to use. The drive up to the home is not for anyone who doesn't like to go off the beaten path. If you are not up for an adventure or do not like back roads or dirt roads, then choose something else. The view and the home is definitely worth it though.

This was our first trip to Yellowstone and we had a great time! The house was about 30-45 mins from the North entrance and was extremely clean and well stocked! Mary was amazing at answering questions for anything we needed. The house has amazing views and is very private. We would definitely stay here again.

We wanted to stay in a place close to Yellowstone but in a quiet/private location. And wow did we hit the jackpot with this house! The road to the house is about 15 minutes off of Hwy 89 and the majority of it is gravel…but what a gorgeous and serene view. Every day we drove up or down the mountain, I had my husband stop the car so I could take a picture of the valley, the wildflowers, the mountains, the wildlife. There was beauty all around. The house was perfect. Everything was so clean and it was beautifully decorated. The views…dear heavens. I could have just stayed at the house and stared at the mountains all day. The location was so quiet and peaceful. We used the fire pit area one evening to view the sky and saw a meteor shower and part of the Milky Way! My oldest daughter and her husband enjoyed the hot tub while stargazing. Watching the storms come in over the mountain was really awesome, too! The house is well-equipped with everything you need. We placed a large grocery order at the Walmart in Bozeman for pickup after our plane landed. We cooked some meals and ate out some in Livingston and Gardiner. Also, you have to try Follow Yer Nose in Emigrant. Some of the best smoked pork and brisket you will ever eat! It takes about 45 minutes to get to the north entrance of Yellowstone. What a beautiful drive along the Yellowstone River where you will likely encounter all kinds of wildlife! I can’t wait to book another stay here in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s worth the drive up the mountain for the peace and quiet. We saw a beautiful rainbow over the mountain when we just arrived. The views were amazing and it seems like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. The house was nice to come home to relax after all the hiking we did in Yellowstone. Mary was a delight to communicate with and the house had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation.

The house is awesome! They have decorated it beautifully. We really enjoyed the open floor plan to hang out. The downstairs bedrooms are great for kids to have some downtime in their own space. My husband and I really enjoyed the beautiful loft bedroom and sitting area looking out onto the mountains. It was so peaceful and we’d open the window at night to let in the fresh mountain air. All of the beds, pillows and bedding were extremely comfortable. The lovely living room had seating for everyone, we were all able to sit and recline ? The kitchen is wonderful with dinning table looking out onto the mountains. The hot tub was fun with the colorful lights and sitting at the fire pit looking at the stars was incredible. The sunset every night was gorgeous! We went to Yellowstone 5 days and had a fantastic time, the drive to the North gate is beautiful. We really enjoyed eating at the Old Saloon, it’s truly stepping back into the Old West. Food and service was great. General Store across street is stocked with pretty much anything you want, prices are good and great kind service, gas and car wash. Emigrant Outpost was also good. Follow Yer Nose BBQ was also yummy and super casual, outdoor seating. We liked Iron Horse on the River in Gardiner. Perk has great coffee and ice cream in Gardiner. Absolutely great trip, loved coming back to the house to chill after a long day at the park. Mary is fantastic and supplies anything that you might need. Loved the trip!!!
