Beautiful Hillside Vista with Dramatic Ocean Views

It’s a beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The home is beautiful and comfortable for our family of 6. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and various kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated the clean and relaxing spa onsite to wrap up each day. The only drawback is that the house is not walkable to oceanfront hiking trails. FYI - The rental office to pick up the key is 8 miles north of the house.

The house was perfect for our stay. Loved the view and the hot tub. Not walkable to beach because of the hill, but a super quick drive. There were walking trails near the house. It was also nice to be close to the lodge and be able to grab coffee in the morning from the cafe.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach disclosed that the adjacent (downhill) home was under construction after the cancellation date. Construction crew arrived at 7 AM and began working by 7:30 AM on the two mornings we were in the rental. Construction until 5 PM across from our deck. Bedroom view of Porta Potties. With appropriate disclosure we would have cancelled. Home itself is ok....would not rent this home until after construction next door is completed. Ocean view will be impacted by the new home below.

We had a great time. Being able to swim at the lodge in addition to being so close to amazing hiking and beaches made for a dreamy vacation. Great kitchen. The bedrooms are on different levels fyi and the lounge furniture definitely needs an upgrade but truly this place was so special. Hope to stay again!

Reviewer Comments: The location of the home, the ocean views from every room in the home, and the overall flow of the home from level to level and room to room is EXCELLENT.Here's what's not so excellent: (First) The Hot Tub is FILTHY and some of the Hot Tub Jets don't work(literally don't come ON) and some of the Hot Tub Jets are broken(literally broken pieces floating in the Hot Tub); (Second) There are only 2 deck chairs for a residence that houses 6 people; (Third) Insufficient salad plates (4 total) and insufficient cereal bowls (2 total); and (Fourth) NO Gas or Charcoal barbeque. You might say they're all minor concerns and you're right they are, but when you're staying there for 14 consecutive days, you begin to wonder Why hasn't the owner taken care of all these things, they're so minor.
