It’s fine, not my kind of place, old home remodeled, but has lost it’s character in the processI messaged Donna w/ my observationsGreat pub 3 doors down, we were there over a weekend and we had a good meal (and good pints) ; the local folks were wonderful & inviting, spent a good couple of hours w/ them

Beautiful place, really comfortable, everything you could need, beds very comfy, kitchen had everything and we cooked a couple of nights. Coffee, tea , tin foil etc. The pub is staggering distance and supermarket 10 min drive, lovely walks around. Very quiet, great garden area. Would absolutely return.

The downstairs (kitchen and living room) and the back yard were excellent. The upstairs needs some attention. The beds were not comfortable and one of them was falling apart, although the host quickly responded with repairs. It was very warm in the whole house but especially upstairs. There was room for a better chair than just a folding chair is our bedroom.

Very lovely cottage and very well furnished and decorated. Especially enjoyed the thoughtfulness of our hostess (Donna) in providing some supplies and treats for our arrival. Very nice backyard for relaxing. Would highly recommend this cottage to others!

This was a lovely house in a picturesque area of the highlands. Perfect for our stay. It was 25 minutes from Inverness. We were able to see many of the beautiful sites in the highlands. Definitely worth the stay.

The property was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was so well stocked.. everything you need for cooking is there. Milk and cookies were waiting for us and I would highly recommend booking! The bathrooms' towel warmers were a nice treat. The outdoor area was lovely.

Great spot that is in a quiet town but still close to Inverness, Loch Ness, Dornoch, etc. Donna is a great host and left plenty of info about local restaurants, etc.. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

The property was lovely. Perfect location to explore the area. Well presented cottage with everything we required. Would definitely book again. Only issue was we were NOT sent the access code for keysafe. Waited a couple of hours. Lucky the pub was open. was.opewas

The house was absolutely perfect for my family’s stay over Christmas. It was spotless, comfortable and very spacious. I loved the wine, chocolate and biscuits left alongside a Christmas card, that was very kind.

The cottage was perfect , well equipped, very comfortable, we loved our pints and evening meals in the Novar Arms. The Coop down the road and a Chinese takeaway both within a short walk were very useful. Thoroughly recommend.

Donna was extremely responsive, going above and beyond by stopping by with dish soap, and shipping the shorts I left in a drawer (oops!). The place was perfect for my family and my mom--we all had the space we needed, and the walks suggested were just what we were looking for. Would not have discovered the Black Rock Gorge if not for staying here, and this is a memory we'll have forever. What an incredible place! Sweet town. Not a lot of places to eat, but we weren't there for that. Make sure to check out the community woods (friendly walkers in there) and The Storehouse. Perfect for exploring this region of the Highlands!
