Beautiful Garden Home with View of Chatham Square & Parking by Lucky Savannah

The rooms were very comfortable and almost like being home.

Absolutely incredible property, warm and cozy with plenty of space. The added parking was a huge bonus that we absolutely appreciated. Location was perfect we were able to do a lot of walking in the area. Overall recommend this place to anyone stopping in the area, we will definitely be back.

Neighborhood was perfect location

The property was great. The location was perfect for getting the full effort of the Savannah charm. It was with in walking distance of local restaurants. Chatam square was a very scenic and historic area. The provided parking was a godsend in an area with limited access to parking. The one caveat was that the Wi-Fi did not work on the first day we were there. So the streaming tv did not work. Bad for a sports fan. The Wi-Fi did start working after a phone call to the property manager. But the day before we left it stopped again. I would consider this a minor inconvenience but others may not.

Great, comfortable apartment on the ground floor with off-street parking. Could not figure out how to lock the front door upon leaving the unit, but after leavimg from rear entry, we often entered the unit from the front door.

Location was perfect and the unit was beautiful with character! I only gave it 4 stars because I feel like it could be a little bit better maintained and I think the owner should add a dehumidifier to help with the mustiness

This is a beautiful place to stay, very homey, roomy & very clean! We loved that we could park in our own space right behind our room & we could walk to the Restaurants & Squares! The Mercer House is right around the corner! Extremely accommodating people to talk with! A

The location is easy to get to from the airport with safe and convenient parking while at the same time walkable to every restaurant and historic downtown tour. Not only in terms of the time to walk (no more than 22 minutes to the river) but absolutely beautiful streets and squares along the way. An easy 25 minute drive to Tybee Island and a 4 minute drive to a grocery store and a leisurely drive and walk in Bonaventure Cemetery - these were the only times we used the car all week. Inside the property was cool and clean with plenty of room for the 3 of us.

The clothes dryer didn't heat up, the gardens at the rear are a jungle, and the internet access wasn't working when we checked in (it got fixed later). Interior lighting is dark - no good place if you like to read at night. But the decor is authentic early 20th century and several pieces are antiques, yet the kitchen, bath, bed etc are up to date. We enjoyed our stay.

The locks need to be replaced, very user unfriendly. The unit is very nice, like being at home and once there an excellent location.

Overall the property was great. It’s an older building so imperfections are to be expected but it was well kept and the location was with in walking distance to all the tourist spots but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Our only issues were with parking. There was another car in the parking spot labeled for our apartment. I called the management company and was instructed to park in the next spot over but I was fearful the whole weekend we would be towed. Everything ended up fine but it was still just a bit of added stress. Also, one day we had heavy rainfall and there was some very minor flooding.

The personal touches were very nice and homey. Had a few small issues like not being able to use the front door due to no key! Also had a musty odor, and on the last night of our stay it poured and water came in under the wall due to the gutters above being clogged!! I assume the musty smell was due to previous water damage.

The property was a good location- handy to historical district- main complaint was how very dark the apt was - all lights needed to be on to make it mildly lit up- the pictures on the site must have had a lot of lighting to make it look that bright. Nicely appointed with furniture and art. Everything as shown on site. What made the dark apt worse was that there was no outside area to escape to. The garden in the back was not a nice place to be - NO effort made to make it look nice - turned over pots, messy, leaves everywhere- very disappointing and not somewhere you’d want to sit. We would walk to sit in the Square across the street instead. Bottom line - this is a nice apt - but know what you’re getting. Not sure the price to this one compared to others. Having said all this we loved Savannah!! beautiful place! The city is fun and a lot to do - we stayed a week- a bit long - 3-4 days does it.

Furnishing are comfortable and clean. Only issue is the lack of light. Other than the bedroom, there is no sunlight to speak of, and the lamps, though many, are dim. Lighter lamp shades and brighter bulbs in the main living area would be welcome.

A great location and easy access to the riverfront by walking or the free DOT shuttle. Management quickly solved a little issue we had. And the bed is comfy.

Although we were initially scheduled to visit Savannah earlier this fall, inclimate weather made that impossible. The competent staff at Lucky Savannah was able to move our stay to December at no additional cost. This in turn allowed us to enjoy a memorable getaway.

The unit is very damp and didn't feel clean. The bathroom was in poor condition. We had to get rid of dozens of millipede like bugs crawling around on the floor. The fenced yard could be adorable but really needs to be tidied up. Overall good location, so-so accommodation .
