Beautiful forest home within walking distance to the maritime market and beach!!

This is at least our 4th time staying at this home. We keep coming back because we love it! It is clean and has everything you need. Great location! Just perfect!

The Hiding Place is one of the best rental homes my family and I have ever stayed in. The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally well appointed. The furnishings are superb, and it is stocked with everything one could possibly need for a perfect vacation. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would. Many thanks to Jeff and his family for sharing their wonderful home with us.

Everything was very nice! It was a lovely home with cozy & beautiful decor. It was only a 0.5 mile walk to the beach &, of course, a brief golf cart ride;P

We had a fabulous stay. The house was very clean and organized and equipped with everything we needed. The house was beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs. We enjoyed our week. We would definitely stay again.

This was the most well-stocked home we have ever visited on Bald Head. The home owner was easy to communicate with and the property was as described - very comfortable and well-situated in the middle of the island! We would enthusiastically return to The Hiding Place.

This house was located in the middle of Bald Head. It is close to the market, shops and restaurants. My mom and daughters and I had a wonderful week. The house had everything we needed

We are home rental vacationers, and this is the best one we’ve rented so far. It was organized, clean, and generous. My husband and I traveled with my daughter, her husband, and our grandson. Your home felt like home to us. Everywhere we looked was a special arrangement of beautiful things. This is the first rental we’ve experienced that labeled every essential switch. The hosts eliminated guessing and trial & error. All choices were labeled. (A Virgo’s dream rental.). We needed for nothing. Everything was supplied or accounted for. The golf carts were charged, the beach chairs were aplenty, and the kid beach toys were perfect.

Great week. Really nicely appointed property in perfect location walking distance to the centrally located shops. Easy to get everywhere else by cart. Loved everything about this house - easy to communicate with owner. 5 stars.

This is our 3rd stay at this lovely home and it was just as amazing as our prior visits. It’s clean, well maintained, comfy and beautifully decorated. Location is great as is the access to the golf carts and other nice touch amenities. We will be back!

This is by far the best experience we have had with rentals. The owner of property communicated with us and all we would need was right there in the home. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and I will definitely plan to return. The location is wonderful - easy access to Jailhouse, the Market and shops. This was Thanksgiving week, so we particularly enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen (pans, serving dishes, spices etc) as well as the labels indicating where everything goes. We had a snafu with one of the carts - our fault!- and Jeff was very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend!

The house was wonderful and had everything we needed - whether it was for cooking, enjoying the beach, or just lounging on the screened porch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Trip was relaxing and packed full of beach time. Shops on island were cute and within walking distance of home. Home was well stocked with everything needed to make the trip memorable. Owners of home responded to questions and provided a comprehensive notebook to make the trip easy!!!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hiding Place. Everything we needed was provided for and thought out thoroughly. We so appreciated having condiments already in the fridge and supplies in the kitchen. The washer and dryer was brand new as well and easy to use. The shower pressures were outstanding. Thank you for opening up your home. We had a very pleasant stay.
