Stayed Dec 22, 2024We had high expectations from the description but this home is not exactly as advertised. It is no longer a brand new house and shows signs of wear and tear. Also the master bedroom does not have a king size bed which we found quite upsetting. The correspondence was sluggish to start with and did not improve much during our stay. We were greeted upon arrival by the assistant manager who showed us around. We noticed a lack of cleanliness in the kitchen with mould in the refrigerator, and the barbecue needed thorough cleaning. There were a few more issues, a defective ice maker, fan, toilet seat, lightbulbs and a leaking toilette amongst others. The cleaning of the kitchen and barbecue was arranged for the next day and a handyman carried out most of the repairs within 7 days but a few issues stayed unsolved within the 4 weeks of our stay. To be fair, this is a beautiful home, nicely furnished and stylishly decorated with a good layout.The landscaping was lovingly designed and pool and gazebo are great assets. We loved watching the sunrise and sunsets from the upper balcony. The views are still unobstructed although there is a lot of building activity in the area. The beach close by is washed away but a short drive gets you to a glorious sandy beach. Many attractions can be easily reached by car, and our stay was a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration.This beautiful home will get top rating when maintenance has improved.
