Stayed Jun 11, 2024When we arrived we were greeted with a small army of cockroaches, crawling on every surface of the house and in every room. To find that we had to pay to exterminate them. After having to personally dispose of the hundreds of cockroaches. We learned that there was no gas flowing to the range so we were unable to cook. The bed in the master bedroom was rock hard, we are pretty sure that it was just a box spring with a topper. There's a lot more going on but you can get the point. Perhaps this would have been a better experience if we would have rented it during the tourist season..

Stayed Jan 15, 2024We had a wonderful time for 5 nights. We could walk 5 to 10 minutes to restaurants and little grocery stores. The front and rear balconies nice. We watched the water on one balcony but if too windy we sit on rear balcony. Pool nice to look at. We didn't get in it. Walked the beach and i fished off the pier and caught 10 small fish. Nice place and everything in working order. No TV but internet and wifi worked well. We would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 30, 2022My wife and I found this property on VRBO and it seemed almost too good to be true - reasonable price, fully functional apartment, private pool plus right on a beautiful beach. But it was great! We saw dolphins each morning, plus enough pelicans, frigates, shorebirds to keep us in our deck chairs often. The town itself is full of wonderful small restaurants with kind, accommodating locals. The pier is a great place to meet them also. We felt safe and secure in every situation we found ourselves in. Great location for our day trips to Merida, Progreso and others. We had excellent cell service (AT&T tower within a golf shot.) No WiFi yet except for some shops. Plus or minus depends on how you see technology and vacation… Host praise - We were embarrassed that they waited for us to arrive several hours after expected time, but they were so gracious and had wanted to greet us and do a proper walk through. Amazing service. Just go ahead and stay here!
