This is a beautiful home, nestled in the woods, on 200 feet of secluded Lake Michigan shoreline. There is a large deck and a suspended wooden walkway to the beach. Great location for fall color, summer beach fun, hunting and fishing and winter sports. We welcome families to our home, this is a quiet welcoming family beach area.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025This home was exactly as it said. Right on Lake Michigan with plenty of beautiful beach coastline. Close to town for grocery, gas, etc. the house was clean and ready for us as it said it would be. Host was very easy to communicate with and very kind and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024Great beach and sheltered bay location on Lake Michigan. Everyone had a good time at the beach and kayaking on the lake. Still hade some black flies the 1st week in July. Home supplied with toys, beach chairs and kitchen was well equipped - better than most rentals. Wonderful views from the deck.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024This house has it all- spacious, 2 spacious living areas, 4 nice size bedrooms, FULLY stocked kitchen, 2 large bathrooms, laundry, games, DVD and of course the best beach ever!!! Sandy, quiet as not many houses around, plenty of beach chairs, toys and floats. There were plenty of nice touches such as soaps, conditioners, first aide, laundry soap, garbage bags and many condiments, spices etc. there is plenty to do or just sit on the deck or beach to enjoy “Pure Michigan”. We never needed to contact anyone for help; but numbers were available. Hilary was fabulous to book and work with. We have been renting for the past 40 summers throughout Mich. this is the best home yet. One thing to keep in mind is that you are in the UP so mosquitoes are plenty. Use bug spray, or keep to the beach/deck where the wind helps to keep them away. You can also sit inside and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Mi as the large windows allow you to relax and enjoy!!

Stayed May 25, 2024We had a lovely stay at this clean, comfortable, and well equipped home. The beach in front of the house is fantastic and we had it completely to ourselves. Our kids had a wonderful time between exploring the beautiful beach and playing with the many toys and games provided at the house. We did lovely day trips to Tahquamenon falls, pictured rocks and Fayette. The only issue was the million mosquitoes that roamed everywhere, but I believe this is typical in the UP at this time of year, so just something to be aware of if planning a trip in late May.

Stayed Jun 17, 2023I was a little throw off upon arrival because of the heavily wooded area and mosquitoes. That all went away when I walked to the front of the house and seen the view. Absolutely amazing and super relaxing. The house was stocked with everything we needed! The lake blew in the perfect breeze at night.
