Beachy, Pet-Friendly Home w/ Fenced Yard & Access to Resort-Style Amenities

The house had everything we needed and the yard and patio were a real gem. I enjoyed watching the sunset and rain out back. The house was more than we needed but the room downstairs was great with the front porch access and the master upstairs was a great escape for my dad! We will be back and hope we can stay again!

Reviewer Comments: Experience at the home was great and as always a very convenient option if you like the beach and 'resort' style of vacation. Improvements to the provisions was a nice touch. However, the corporate layers are catching up with this classic vacation destination. What used to be a high-level experience regarding staff and assistance has slipped to something akin to a 'hotel' experience. Rigidity has replaced flexibility, and the warmth of staff has been replaced by a more bland/predictable luke-warm indifference. The landscaping and up-keep to common areas was really far below the quality that use to be CS's specialty. The 'great lawn' was practically dead and all the grass/irrigated areas looked like they hadn't been maintained and generally neglected. Maintaining anything along the TX gulf is very difficult; so maybe it's just the nature of things; however, it is noticeable.

Our family had a wonderful vacation. We rented chairs/umbrellas on the beach as well as a golf cart. The process of which was very smooth. We will definitely be back!

Really like location of Margaritaville 132 and appreciate pet-friendly policy. The kitchen seemed under stocked, patio and patio furniture were dirty. Doors were dirty and furniture was a bit worn. Okay rental but not what I expected compared to past experiences at Cinnamon Shores.

Close to a few restaurants and also fully stocked kitchen to cook at home. Great backyard!

Only negative was that the WiFi was terrible, there was also hardly any extra blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa or some extra blankets. Maybe some extra throws would be good. Also, we ordered to-go from Dylan’s Pizza and they said they would call us when our order was ready and they didn’t. We ended up just heading over there and it was sitting there waiting to be picked up. It was cold when we got it.

Reviewer Comments: We sincerely appreicated the opportunity to stay in this rental but our expectations of a fresh bright, well maintained home were quickly diminished. This dear home needs updating. Front door is very difficult to shut and lock without slamming. We opened the door and the house smelled very musty, old and there were roaches. Very dirty windows, stained carpets and tile grout throughout. Tile around master shower needs repaired. Primary bedroom slept comfortably but mascara stains on pillow case. The second queen bedroom is too small to comfortably accomdate two adults. Thank God our third couple had to cancel because we would have been embarrassed. The photos provided do not reflect the real conditions of this home; with exception of furniture layout, the wide angle photos give the impression of a less cramped, newer environment. The laundry room dropdown in floor level is a dangerous tripping hazard. We understand it's to prevent leaking from the washing machine from spreading but at least place a thicker rug in the area to level out the height transition from laundry to hall. The appliances worked properly, very hot water and air conditioning was comfortable. Learned our lessen, when planning future trips, we will get rental recommendations directly over the phone versus relying on on-line website to find the right place for us. We appreciate the efforts but this home was not right for us.
