Stayed Aug 10, 2025My husband and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at this adorable beach house in Dana Point! The house is nicely decorated, clean, well-stocked, and best of all right on the ocean. During high tide, the waves crash onto the rocks below and spray onto the open deck — exhilarating! At low tide, steps lead from the deck directly onto the sand, perfect for strolling or running along the beach. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the host is wonderful. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Stayed Mar 12, 2024A beautiful, well kept house directly on the beach. The house was pristine and the follow up from Marcella was incredible. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful and caring host!

Stayed Feb 10, 2024Overall, the interior of the house was darling, especially the living room area and kitchen nook. The covered deck was a plus. And you can't beat the beach front location. It is a private community with 24hr security so if you're in to that, this is your spot. It has 2 bedrooms, one of which has 4 beds but only one bathroom. Not ideal for a mom and her 2 sons but we managed. The kitchen definitely needs some TLC. I bought a new keurig and water pitcher with filter as the the coffee pot and filtered water pitcher were difficult to determine when last cleaned. And several of the coffee cups looked as though they hadn't been cleaned. Having said that, the kitchen was well stocked and with a little help, could be a main feature of the house. By far, the best part of this rental, other than the location was Marcella. She was always available and quick to respond. Met me at the house on arrival to give me a tour and low down on how everything worked. She couldn't be more helpful and kind.

Stayed Jun 7, 2022What a delightful cottage on Southern California's coast! An experience everyone should enjoy. Waves crashing 24/7, beautiful views, fresh air. Beach Road is convenient to great restaurants and many activities just North or South along the coast... that is if you ever want to leave Seas the Day. Marcella has thoughtfully appointed the rental with everything you need to make the most of a beach vacation.
