Beachfront Family Vacation Destination - Lasting Memories at the Beach

In a word: perfect. By far the nicest vacation stay we have ever experienced. Clean, safe, well kept, and comfortable. Beach amenities provided, as well as bicycles for getting around, and a clean laundry area. Host was very helpful, pleasant, and always available. We definitely did not want to leave!

First time staying at a beach house, awesome experience and the house had just about everything we needed. We felt safe, nice gated community and the kids loved the house... We will do it again...Owners were very nice, gave us our privacy at all times...

You can't beat the location! Any home on Beach road in Dana Point is going to be amazing. Like most homes, no AC but we were here in the beginning of August and had no problem with heat. The upstairs bedroom got hot in the middle of the day but we were out doing stuff anyway and didn't need to be up there and there were plenty of fans available to cool off if needed. Nancy and Dave are great hosts. Very responsive and helpful. Nancy mailed me back some personal items I had accidentally left behind, which was so sweet of her! We had the best time eating on the back patio with the one of a kind ocean view.

Awesome location, right on the beach with wonderful sand and even some surfable waves. Tons of room, well-equipped kitchen. Everything was set up well for our party to enter the gated community. Altogether a great place for our get-together.

The house was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The beach access is perfect because you can still play and lay out in the sand during high tide. They had everything you would want for the beach available. There were plenty of fans to move the cool ocean breeze at night. Would highly recommend!

Great location.

Our family absolutely loved this property! We plan a beach trip every year, but this was our first time at this proprty. Such a beautiful home with everything we could possibly need. Dave was easy to get a hold of to answer any questions and Nancy was lovely and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped, furniture was comfy and the outside seating was amazing. We traveled with my young son who is on the spectrum and I truly appreciated the patio with the heavy plastic to block sand access if needed. They truly thought of everything! Hoping to make more memories in this beautiful home next year!

Cute beach cottage right on the sand in Capistrano beach. Older home but clean and maintained. Also, tons of beach toys, firepit, bbq, bikes, etc… Location is right between San Clemente and Dana Point. Easy parking right in front. The host lives next door and is available if you need anything, very nice and friendly.

Property manager was amazing to work with! The house was well represented by the website and was perfect for my family. Great memories and hopes to revisit.

Great spot right on the sand. Couldn't ask for a better location . Our hosts were attentive and very nice people. The home is an older beach bungalow style and we love that vibe. We look forward to returning!

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The place was very well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to beach gear. The views were absolutely stunning. The hospitality was top-notch too; the hosts were welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. Nancy was right next door and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent Stay

Six friends and I came to Dana Point for the Ohana Festival and were thrilled to find this gem of a beach cottage! It’s clean and has so much room. The patio and beach area is beautiful. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed being here! Don’t think a second more - just book it!

We had an amazing stay in this beachfront cottage! The owners were responsive and communicative at all times for questions. They graciously allowed us to stage a small elopement ceremony on the beach directly in the sand in front of the property. With a photographer and officiant, we were 7 people total. It was perfect! The cottage is cute, clean and comfortable. It is an older property on the ocean, so it has vintage vibes and “character” as well as modern amenities. They provide anything you could possibly need! Instructions were clear. Loved the quiet and safe community. Thank you to Nancy and Dave for being wonderful to work with. We want to return for all our wedding anniversaries! I wish I could post photos of our amazing ceremony and beach photo shoot here, we have had so many friends and family asking how we scored such an awesome location!!

I booked this for 1 week in July as part of my 80th birthday celebration with family, cost of $7000. It was a very bad experience. Brief summary: very rundown overall; torn living room cushions; food remnants behind furniture and under cushions; mold in bathroom showers; dust and dirt throughout; rickety bunk bed for child; kitchen toaster worked only one side, many other problems.

The property was perfect and we had a wonderful time. Booking was easy, everything we needed was provided and we loved being so close to the ocean. We would definitely book with Nancy & Dave again.

We had the best relaxing time! The house was great for our family of 8. It is a little dated inside but we spent so much time enjoying the beach. The owner Nancy lives next door she was very sweet and helpful. The dishwasher was broken when we got there and she had it replaced with a new one the next day. The house is very well stocked with everything you’d need. Plenty of kitchen things and tons of towels, beach towels and beach toys. The garage is full of bikes and being a gated community there is very little traffic so it’s very safe for riding. There is a train track that runs behind the home, you can hear it but it’s not bothersome at all. All of the sand in the yard was replaced while we were there and it’s very soft to walk on and play in. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely consider staying here. Thanks for the great time!

Had a great stay for our daughter’s 16th. Perfect amount of space for 5 kids and 2 adults. Would book again! Communication was perfect. Sand toys, fire pit, bikes, sand and sun….couldn't have asked for anything better

This gem offered an amazing stay for my family. Its has all everything you need to a beach vacation or a getaway. The weather wasnt great to go into the water, but overall had an amazing time. The beach and the sand in the back is a little rocky and great for kiddos to dig and build sand castles.
