Beach Views of Guiones Surf Break

Our family of 6 rented this home for a week of surf school in Nosara. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and the ocean/sunset views unparalleled. It's an easy 8 minute drive down the hill to the Playa Guiones town and beach. The outdoor gym was a nice bonus. Highly recommended.

We had the best time in Nosara at Barry's place. We cant wait to come back.

My family and I wanted to escape the New England cold for a couple of weeks this winter and found the perfect place in Barry and Patricia's house. Casa Stud Muffin is new, clean, beautiful, well laid out and perfect for a mix of zoom school, work and relaxation. The wifi was more than sufficient to cover everything we need to get done. The Las Huacas neighborhood is beautiful and quiet after the fun hubbub of Playa Guiones and the guards organized by the community association add in an extra feeling of safety (plus some good practice with polite 'buenos noches' on the way home from the beach sunset). Barry and Patricia were very responsive and quickly answered questions and provided recommendations. We all cried when we left and can't wait to visit again.

This was a gorgeous home and beautiful view of the beach and jungle. We loved it and thought it was an amazing experience!

Our family had a lovely stay at Barry and Patricia's property. The view is incredible! The house had everything our family of four could possibly need and more. The swimming pool and pool table kept us busy at home and we were only a very short drive from the beach (5min). Grocery stores, restaurants, surf schools, etc, are within easily reach, Our hosts, Barry and Patricia live next door and were always available if anything came up and super helpful with any questions. Local wildlife was abundant. We'd go back tomorrow! Thanks for an incredible stay. (PS- Stop by the fruit stand near the gas station and buy a coconut. The coconut guy will machete off the top and you drink the coconut water down! Delicious and perfect after a morning at the beach. :)

We have been visiting Nosara and Guoines for 15 years and this was the first time staying outside of town up in the hills and we loved it. You definitely will need a car as it is an 8-10 minute ride down the hill into town, but it is well worth it. The view is amazing and you are out of the crowd and dust (in dry season). There is no A/C in the main living room (but there is in the bedrooms), so be prepared for that. The breeze and ceiling fans are usually adequate for cooling the main room, though it does get a bit warm in the late afternoon, but that is the perfect time to enjoy a glass of wine out on the covered porch by the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed staying out of town and up in the hills.

Great home! I've been renting in Nosara for 16 and this was place was beautiful. One of the largest pools I've seen in a rental property here. Also, the adjoining hot tub was a major plus. Barry was super accommodating and attentive to anything we needed. Check in and out was a breeze! Will definitely look to rent this place in the future!

If you want great views then this is your place! My husband and I stayed with our 6 month old and it was perfect. Very clean!! The owners couldn’t be nicer and very attentive. The Ac went off one night as it can anywhere in CR and they were there fixing it the next day. The little outdoor gym was an added bonus. Pure relaxation and they even had cooks they recommended for us to use. They were great if you love authentic Costa Rica dishes like us!! We would absolutely stay here again. Pura Vida
