Beach in Front of Home - Hopkins, Belize

The house is great and both Shelley and Lesta were absolutely wonderful. We cooked almost all of our meals and the kitchen is not lacking anything.

We (a 3-generation family of 2 seniors, two adults and two kids - 6 and 11) spent a weeks' family vacation over Christmas here. It was wonderful. Mrs. Shelley took care of everything for us, including cooking all meals for us. For Christmas, we had shrimp and conch ceviche, and lobster two ways - grilled and lobster Newburg - also fresh deserts every night. This left us free us to be together and enjoy the pool and kids. Mr. Lesta picked coconuts for each of us and showed us how to get the milk. We wanted (and got) a quiet holiday away from others focused on enjoying the kids and each other. We never heard any drunken guests, loud parties or anything even though nice hotels were 2-3 doors down. The house felt really modern and upscale, freshly painted. Everything was as described. but the loving personal care Mrs. Shelley and her team provided us made it really special.

The House was Perfect for our Family. We used the Pool nonstop and my 2 grand daughter played in the sand. Unfortunately the sargassum was bad in the water but we knew to expect it. Shelley & Lesta were Awesome !!

Incredible home, so much better than the pictures. Right on the beach, fully stocked, beach walk to several restaurants and bars. So special! Space for all.

This is the second time staying here and we are planning on coming back! The house was perfect for 4 families. Shelly and Lesta were amazing and made sure our stay was perfect.

The house was perfect for each family to have their own room - so spacious and comfortable. The teens shared the beds in the loft. We used the sea kayaks and the pool many times and loved the upper deck at night.Shelley and her crew greeted us upon arrival and got us nicely oriented to the house. We also used Shelley to prepare 6 meals total which made our vacation even more relaxing. The house is walkable to a few bars/restaurants but we drive to the grocery and options in “downtown” Hopkins.

Our stay in Hopkins was unbelievable. Our group of nine adults had plenty of space for congregating and privacy. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pool was comfortably heated, the beach cleaned and raked. Miss Shelley had a delicious dinner cooking for us when we arrived and Lester was readying the pool. They were the real stars of our stay We were worried staff may cramp our style but they truly made the trip. Shelley set us up with fantastic tour guides for Mayan Ruins, cave tubing, and zip lining. Lester was incredibly kind and thoughtful, checking on us daily and readily available. We have all decided we need to stay longer next time or maybe just move to Belize! We could not have dreamed of a better place to stay. Perfection.

Everything about this house and its staff was perfect! We had a group of 10 for a 50th bday celebration. Mrs Shelly had an incredible dinner ready for us the evening we arrived that was so delicious. Mr Lesta was there to help get us settled as well. The house is beautiful and plenty big for everyone to stretch out and have space. The pool and beach is immaculately kept. Mrs Shelly helped us book all of our excursions, transportation, and any meals we wanted at home. Definitely leverage this!The village is safe, beautiful and FUN!! Highest recommendations all around! We will be back!

Shelley and Lesta are fabulous and work diligently to meet all needs. Very well stocked property. Beautiful bedrooms for all occupants. Walkable to multiple restaurants. With bad weather, pool heater not working was a disappointment. Areas of improvement are need for a good grill; beach chairs for all occupants;beach toys, a kayak and a fully functional paddle board.

Our family absolutely loved our week long stay at Casa los Suenos. We had six adults and two boys, ages 10 and 13. Each couple, including the boys, enjoyed their own spacious bedroom and bathroom. The living area, open kitchen and large veranda overlooking the pool and beach provided so much space for us that we hardly used the large loft area at all. We enjoyed walks along the beach, paddle boarding and snorkeling with the equipment provided, swimming in the pool and the Caribbean Sea, and just relaxing in the beautiful setting. Shelley, our house manager, arranged three excursions for us: a boat ride on the Monkey River with a walk in the jungle to see and hear the howler monkeys, a tour of a nearby chocolate farm with Mayan chocolate tasting, and a snorkeling trip to Bread & Butter Caye and the Barrier Reef. She also arranged for us to rent a golf cart for the week so we could go into Hopkins Village whenever we desired. Shelley and her excellent staff provided two breakfasts and three dinners which we selected from her delicious menus. Lester, our groundskeeper, was on call 24/7 to help us with any needs, including picking and cutting coconuts from our trees, getting out the snorkeling equipment, and taking our family Christmas photos. Housekeeping was provided upon request.We highly recommend Casa los Suenos and its friendly, caring staff for any family looking for a relaxing, fun vacation in Belize!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary with our kids and grandkids - party of 11. The property was great, offering plenty of space for privacy but also lots of areas for family activities. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, and its beachfront location provided a scenic haven for our family time together. The property staff welcomed us for checkin and did an incredible job of making our stay so special. They even decorated our bedroom to help us celebrate our 50th! Be sure to engage Ms. Shelley to prepare your meals, as she is an excellent cook who prepared some great meals for our family, and she can help arrange excursions too. There’s also Lester who makes sure the properly is well maintained and everything works. Bottom line-I can highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a family vacation in a quiet and beautiful beachfront location.
