Beach Cottage with Pool

Property is true to listing. It’s a well tended home, from kitchen implements to Eilliams Sonoma hand soaps to a wall of books that are great beach reads. Beds are comfortable, furniture is nice. It’s stocked with all the things you need for the beach and the area. Wonderful fit for our crew - ages 10 to 78. Pool was a great reprieve during the hot July days when we weren’t at the beach. Pool chairs were great, vegetation around the pool was lush.

The landscape, decor & pool were perfect. The street was very quiet. The swing out front is a beautiful place for photos. The front porch was a favorite for breakfast & the back porch has a screened in siting area that is so peaceful. The AC in the house stayed at a perfect temperature. They have plenty of floats & a wagon in the garage. The owners are Johnny on the spot for responding to issues. Example: The coffee pot was broken & within a couple hours we had a new one. Everything is so clean & neat. Location is perfect for downtown & east beach access. Only thing I will give a warning about is the upstairs. If you plan on having two couples in the rooms you HAVE to walk through one to get to the other & the bathroom has no door with a glass shower walk in. Was kind of awkward as it was kids & a MIL in that space. Other than that shared room and no door everything was PERFECT!!! Will book again when we come back. Also lights for pool and back yard trees is in the kitchen over the three tiered counter by the back door.

This was our 2nd time staying at Ibis Roost. Even though it is in a neighborhood, you feel line you are secluded. The pool is surrounded by beautiful green plants and flowers. It is so peaceful. This house has everything you would want. The owner is great and will work with you if you have any questions. I highly recommend you check it out.

The House was wonderful and we had plenty of room! It was well stocked and a short bike ride to the beach. We loved the area and will be back! I had a few questions about check out process and couldn’t reach the host so I hope we did everything right!

Our family greatly enjoyed this lovely home. It was comfortable and well equipped. The backyard pool was a wonderful oasis. Easy walking or bicycle distance to the beach or town. St. Simons Island was a great place to relax and explore!

This was our 3rd or 4th time to stay at the Ibis Roost! It is our most favorite place to stay and it’s always A+! You won’t regret staying here. It is equipped with everything you need to feel like it’s your home away from home. We will be back again for sure!

We loved this location since it is walkable to the beach and to the Village. Pictures did not do the house justice. Very spacious, lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Pool was huge and very private. The house felt very homey, a feeling you don’t always get in a vacation home. We probably should have called earlier to get the door code, but it wasn’t a problem. The owner was very quick to respond when we contacted her. We had a GREAT stay!

This house was wonderful. Sitting by the pool looking at all the beautiful plants was so peaceful. My family and I loved the location . It is a short walk to the beach and village. The house is fully equipped with all you need. We will definitely stay here again.
