Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Magnolia. It was a great location and very clean upon arrival. The rooms were comfortable and the layout was great. The only suggestion I had is to have better black out curtains. We had three small children in the home and the window shades did not keep much light out. There were also a lot of black flies around the property. I know property management installed fly zappers around the home which we appreciated to control the fly situation. We will definitely be back!

We found it amazingly stocked, with many thoughtful supplies, from terrific sound systems to games. Our one suggestion was that the fan in the bunk room be reconsidered. We found it too noisy when trying to sleep. We see that it's essential to air flow, but think a quieter version would be better.

Each bedroom had a bathroom and an extra half bath The kitchen was stocked with all you needed. Washer and dryer was nice to have as well. Loved the wrap around porch with swing and outdoor seating too Will definitely recommend this property.

The beds and baths are clean and welcoming with upgraded fixtures. The kitchen provides everything you could need including useful staples and first class appliances.. The welcoming gifts were very thoughtful and wonderful keepsakes. The owners truly thought of everything and put a lot of love into the house. I highly recommend the Blue Magnolia!

The only problem we had was with getting the dryer working. There was a problem with the dryer vent and it was clogged and the dryer would not work. We had 3 loads of towels wet and were unable to get them to dry. The maintenance was s super slow and even after coming almost 24 hours later, the issue wasn't resolved. we had to go home with all of our dirty towels and laundry which is a huge disappointment and hassle.

The accommodations were so comfortable and they truly thought of everything - from the new beach towels at the back door, the espresso machine, the stocked pantry, google home speakers throughout and even personalized gift mugs - we can’t wait to go back!

I called and complained. They sent a guy out who sprayed some stuff s d said it wasn’t mold. My noise immediately started running and didn’t stop till we left. ALL my clothes, suitcase & purse SMELL of mold. I had to rewash most of my clothes & the smell remains. We have been back a week, I aired out my suitcase & purse YET the smell REMAINS. For $800 PLUS a night this is NOT ACCEPTABLE

The house had enough room but had several issues. Mildew, ice maker wasn’t working too well, upstairs master sink water really smells, fans were dirty, lots of flies when we arrived and throughout stay, blankets were dirty, not enough towels and very limited supplies left. The house was basic and could use some tlc!

Our rental unit was clean, in good condition and satisfied virtually all of our needs and expectations. We especially loved the storage spaces throughout the unit (closets, pantry, cabinets, extended driveway etc.); the large spacious bathrooms/showers with each bedroom; and the amenities provided (outside grill, washer/dryer, outside shower, etc.). Our only critique relates to the size of the family/dining room. We found the space in this room (and the furniture for sitting) to be lacking for a unit that sleeps up to 12 individuals. Also, the noise and congestion from ongoing construction in the neighborhood was more of a nuisance than expected, but we did know about this going in.
