Bay Forest house with pools, gym, tennis, and free WiFi

This is our fourth time staying at Bay Forest. We love the trails, scenery, and pools. Those reasons alone are why I am giving this listing any stars at all. The carpets were so badly stained you could ALMOST not see that they desperately needed to be vacuumed. The downstairs bathroom toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, counters had toothpaste and hair on it. The rugs were covered in toilet paper shreds, hair, other debris like the plastic strings found in tops to keep them on a hanger. The kitchen had crumbs on the counters with food stains/splatter. The floors covered in crumbs and sand. Flies were flying around the unit, we killed three. Pans, pots and bowls were put back dirty. There was no large garbage that would be typically found in a kitchen. Used floss, q - tips and plastic silverware were on the carpets upstairs. Plastic patio chairs were littered about the downstairs (5). Despite having to list how many people were with us during our stay, we were only provided 4 large bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash clothes. Vacasa did ask how our check in was, I informed them of our experience while stating I was not interested in having anyone come into our rental now that we were settled. The next day, a tall garage can with a lid was in our kitchen. Someone had entered our rental without asking before hand or telling after! When I contacted Vacasa, they said it must have been a miscommunication. I would NEVER STAY with a property run by Vacasa again! Filth

We enjoyed our stay here again. The neighborhood is so enjoyable - lots of trails and a quiet environment.

Layout of the house, spacious, comfortable, convenient, front porch.

This is our preferred house to rent at the beach, the layout is perfect for family gatherings as the inside and outside provide lots of space for adults to sit or for children to play in the grass or on the deck. Neighborhood amenities have something for everyone!

This house with the neighborhood amenities was perfect for our multigenerational group. There was plenty of space inside and out for everyone to be together or do things on their own. We took advantage of the pools, lighted tennis courts, gym and walking trails. Grocery stores and the beach were short drives. Lots of options with this house.

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay for my family of 5. Plenty of space for everyone to rest and relax. It’s close to Bethany Boardwalk, easy to travel from, and in an area where you can come back from a busy hot day at the beach and just chill.

We had a great time staying on Oyster Catcher. Great community amenities (my kids love the pool!). Easy drive to the beach. Nice, quiet area to relax. The house was spacious and comfortable and we had everything we needed for the week. Would definitely return.

Neighborhood, furniture, working TVs, fully equipped kitchen, cleanliness, sheets and towels, caring owner who thoughtfully provided a fruit basket. Vacasa easy to deal with. Unfortunately weather was atrocious most times over two weeks, but we booked again for September.

The house is beautiful! The upstairs tv/game room was fantastic for our kids to hangout. The fridge is huge for weekly groceries, keurig for fresh coffee and master bed was most comfy bed we have ever had at a rental. Playground near the clubhouse was perfect for our toddlers to burn energy. Grill worked perfect for family dinner. Neighborhood is very quiet which added to our week of relaxation. We will definitely will return next winter. Cons- no snow shovel. we got hit twice and were not able to shovel the driveway or shovel like the neighbors. We do not have tivo experience so a quick how to on the tvs would be a great add to the welcome book. Unless you need the garage remote or access to the gym key do not waste your time going to Vacasa to check-in.
