Bassett's Cabin

Great location! The only downside was it took about 8 hours to heat the place up, arrived after 6 pm and shivered for most of first night.

We LOVED this cozy but spacious cabin inside the park in Wawona. It is the perfect combination of great amenities with a rustic mountain feel. The house has 5 bedrooms, PLENTY of space for our family of 5. The large open living area offered lots of cozy hang out space, and the ping pong table in the garage was a HUGE hit with our 3 kids - they spent every free moment out there. There is a large, fantastic deck. We visited early in the season (late April) so I don't know what it's like during peak season, but during out stay it was nice to be a little bit away from Yosemite Valley and the crowds. The area is very peaceful, steps to the little store with basic supplies and souvenirs and a nice outdoor seating area. One of our favorite sites in the park turned out to be a short walk from the house - Chilnualna Falls is short walk from the house and was the most amazing waterfall we saw the whole trip. There is a long, more challenging walk to the upper fall, but viewing the lower falls is a very manageable short walk, and was great for our 8 year old.

The property was clean and had everything we were looking for. We could explore Yosemite at our leisure and the river was a less than 5 minute walk away. It was awesome!

The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Very clean. Communication with property manager was excellent. I just wish it was a little closer to Yosemite Valley, but I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great cabin. Very clean. Fun decorations. Well stocked kitchen. Large deck with lots of seating. Impress your family and friends. Super convenient location with two markets and a restaurant nearby.

The cabin was very well equipped and had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. The location was perfect for exploring the Wawona area as well as going into the Valley. Would definitely stay again!

We had such a lovely time staying in this home. There was plenty of room for two families of small children to spread out. The place was exactly as listed, very clean and well stocked with essentials. There's a nice little market just up the street within walking distance. We were there on Halloween night and the little neighborhood had some socially distancing trick or treating which our small kids were able to participate in. Check out was also very easy. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice stay in Yosemite, and would definitely come back!

The Cabin wasn't terribly difficult to find and was in a great neighborhood. Nearby market had great availability of possible needed items at reasonable prices based on location. Property was beautful with plenty of room between other properties to give a sense of privacy and plenty of room for the kids to play without destracting the neigbors too much. Cabin was clean and well equiped. Very satisfied with our stay and hope to be able to return in the future.
