Barn at Schooner Point- A Romantic Escape

This is our second stay at the beautiful barn. It was just as wonderful as the first. Leslie and Sean are the perfect hosts! Coming to the barn is like coming home.

Our Barn stay was truly epic. Sunrise was full of colors and looking directly West for the sunset was like a painting, so picturesque. We are heading back in the Fall and can't wait!Our hosts were so friendly and communicated immediately . 10/10 stay!

Our host, Leslie, was so very accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure all of our needs were met, especially with the impending storm.

This is one of the most calming and beautiful spaces I have ever been to. There is no hotel in the world that could give the calming effect of waking up or going to sleep looking out that window. Thank you for sharing this with the world.

The most beautiful setting and location overlooking the ocean at Schooner Point. Celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary searching for light floats and exploring the island by bike. The sunsets were unreal. The Barn has everything you need. Leslie and Sean are amazing artisans. Hope to return.

Beautiful ocean view and good kitchen to cook.

I went with my husband for our anniversary. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The view the location. It was breathtaking and so relaxing, which is exactly what we needed.

Best location on Block Island

This is by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed on the island. The view, the charm and romance of the barn and our amazing host Leslie are what made this stay so very special. The barn and it’s location bring out the essence and beauty that is Block Island.

Fantastic location, with an excellent view. Not suitable for anyone planning to stay for a week and do a fair amount of cooking. The refrigerator is a college type mini refrigerator with a barely functional freezer.

The barn is just a very special hide away. So private and charming. A very unique experience. The view of the ocean is just heavenly. You can relax on a hammock or walk down to the rocky beach.

Beautiful property with an amazing 10/10 view with a bed facing the sunset and a massive window to watch out of. It is in a quiet part of the island, perfect for escaping and relaxing. Everything we needed was there: kitchen, grill, shower, toiletries, comfy bed, wifi, and the best view I have ever woken up to. The owner ensured we were able to get directions before arriving, was very respectful of privacy, and easygoing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone, especially to those whos primary goal is to enjoy the islands beauty. However I would highly recommend a vehicle. It is on the opposite side of the island from the ferry.

Everything was absolutely amazing. The place was so relaxing and everything we were looking for. The hosts were spectacular and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend location.

Our stay at the Barn was everything we expected and more. The Barn is somewhat remotely located on the far side of the island away from the town and traffic. Our experience at the Barn included amazing sunsets and memorable sunrises, walks along the beach below the cliffs, hikes through Rodman's Hollow and easy access to some of Block Island's best restaurants. But perhaps the best experience of spending time at the Barn was hunkering down through a Nor'easter with gale force winds and driving rain.What a fantastic get-awayLeslie and Sean were fantastic hosts as we spent an extra night at the Barn when the Block Island Ferry was not sailing due to the Nor'easter.

My husband and I just finished one the most relaxing stays in all of our travels. Even with 2/4 days of rain, the Barn was cozy, warm, and so peaceful. Short walks in the rain to a secluded rocky beach was just what we needed during the rainy days. When the sun came out the next day, a picnic on the same beach! Comfortable bed, extraordinary views, fast wifi, surrounded by art, and then beautiful hiking trails a short drive away made our visit to Block Island memorable in so many ways.
