AMAZING VILLA AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We had a bit of a bumpy start, the island lost power the day before we arrived and the house was a bit on the fritz. Sammi was very attentive and got an electrician out to get everything reset first thing in the morning. Once everything was up and running we had a lovely time, the house and grounds are expansive which worked out perfectly for our large group as anyone could find solitude if needed. This house is located in a local area but only ten minutes away from anywhere you may want to go, we had a rental car for half of us and the rest traded out taxiing for $15 a trip. The heat and humidity were intense (the living areas are open to the outside) but that’s Aruba in September ha-ha. I would recommend putting all food items in the refrigerator regardless of if they need it, the local kitties like to help themselves to your tortillas. The house is beautiful, you’ll find another gorgeous feature everyday you stay. The neighbors are lovely, but you absolutely need to respect the 10pm quiet time rule. There’s also two puppers that live on the block, super sweet and they want all the pets. We all enjoyed our stay at the Bali retreat and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The Bali Retreat is a magical paradise. The design is a work of art, from the open air living spaces to the suites with their our door tubs and showers. The sitting areas inside and out of the villa are comfortable and made for conversation, reminiscing, and connecting with your family or friends. The entertainment in this home is like no other rental I’ve ever seen. The need to leave this property during our vacation was not at the top of the list. I wished we had not booked so many excursions and spent more time at the villa. The yoga space, prayer room, volleyball on soft white sand, the theater, and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were among my favorites. Others in my party enjoyed the hammocks, and ping pong, and pool table. There was lots of something for everyone. The hospitality given by Maria and Alex, the hired chefs, and the massage team where beyond belief. The people in Aruba period, are the best I’ve ever seen! This trip was an excellent choice for celebrating 27 years of travel with friends!

Our experience at Bali Aruba was wonderful. Maria is an incredibly responsive host who made sure we had everything we needed from time of booking to departure. She helped us arrange all of our activities, food, chefs, etc. The property is stunning, so many fun things to do and places to hang (loved the movie room!!). Maria and Alex were very responsive to help manage the mosquitos, but with an open house you definitely want to make sure you bring bug spray. Taxis are convenient, you’re a short 5-15min ride to beaches and restaurants.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the host is responsive and accommodating with a list of services to provide in addition to the home. The only drawbacks are the distance from the strip, the flies and mosquitoes, and that there is no AC in the common space. The home is much like a riad so the heart of it is an outdoor, open space. The property manager also visited daily to clean the pools and perform other maintenance. They were always kind and respectful.

An expansive compound with everything from extremely comfy beds to an well appointed kitchen, fun outdoor pool and tiki bar, beach volleyball court, ping pong, pool table, even a 10 lazy boy reclining seat theater! You will NOT be disappointed. One of the best things? It’s 10-12 minutes to everywhere! Beaches, dining, airport, hospital, golf. Alex, the property manager, was fantastic!!!
