Babylon Reef: Recently Renovated Villa with Backyard Snorkeling and a Crystal Blue Pool

Excellent pool, view and home.

Loved this property! The amazing view of the ocean, the huge pool and beautiful big windows were great. The layout was perfect for myself and my husband, my mom and our 2 kids (shared the twin bedroom upstairs). The location on the Northern end of the island was quiet and peaceful and close to many of the excursions we did (parrot sanctuary, botanical garden, Starfish point). It wasnt too far to drive to anywhere else on the island either, maybe 45 mins max. The house and pool were very clean. Check in and check out process was easy. We have no complaints about this property and would love to stay again in the future! It was too windy/choppy for us to snorkel out back with smaller kids, but older kids or adults easily could. Our kids had fun seeing the hermit crabs come over every morning on the sandy area by the palm trees.

We had an amazing stay at Babylon Reef! Our group had three adults and three children. Age ranges were from 5-75. The house was beyond comfortable and so easy to be in. The fenced in yard made it easy for the kids to run around and explore. There are no houses on either side of this property so there is so much privacy. We cracked open several coconuts and drank fresh coconut water from them. This was a highlight for the kids. The kids were in and out of the pool throughout the day and there was always a shady spot around the pool if you needed a break from the sun. The beach was very natural with sea grass large chunks of coral huge conch shells and lots of fun. As described this side of the island does have trouble with trash washing up. Our beach was clean but walking to the right or left and there was sadly more visible trash. We were not able to successfully kayak or snorkel here as it was very very windy the week that we stayed. We rented a car and had no trouble making fun day trips to seven mile beach, the parrot sanctuary, botanical garden, rum point, bioluminescent bay, crystal cave and out to eat at Tukka. We shopped and cooked in most nights and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking. We were able to watch the sunset if we walked down the beach to the left. Everyone found this vacation to hit the spot! No one was ready to leave after 7 days!

From the view as soon as you walk in, to the beds once you go to bed at night…it all excellent. The pool was clean, beautiful, and has an amazing view. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of starter supplies at the home (toilet paper, paper towels), we will definitely be back!!!

It was a perfect house for 4 adults and 2 children. The location is wonderful if you want to be in a quieter area of the island. There are wonderful beaches nearby, and a variety of excellent local restaurants. And, it’s not a long drive to explore the other areas of the island. The pool was great, and there was a wonderful breeze the entire week we were there. It was too windy to swim or kayak in front of the house, so I would suggest not renting a kayak. And as it turned out, there were already kayaks there to use with life vests! It was easy to cook meals in the kitchen. The bedrooms were all comfortable. It is a wonderful home to rent!

We loved staying on the quiet North Side. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We especially loved that we could snorkel right off the property's beach. Lifejackets were provided by the house which was a great amenity. We also loved the spacious backyard and relaxing in the pool. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Babylon Reef. The home was very comfortable and offered an amazing view of the ocean. This is our 3rd trip to the island. We enjoyed this area very much. It is secluded, yet close enough to access all parts of the island.Cayman never disappoints.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House is absolutely charming and very private. Kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs. Will definitely be booking again!

The property looks exactly as shown online. Experience the view in person is unreal. Plenty to do for the kids on property. Nice quiet location. Would love to return!

This house is truly a gem! If you want a truly quiet, spa like, restful place to stay on the island, this is it. From the very moment you step in you will be swept away with the view from large picture windows of your back yard to the pool and gorgeous aqua blue ocean. Your mouth will drop! It’s almost too good to be true! I don’t think the pictures online quite do this place justice. My family of 5 and I had the most magical time here with the house and bedrooms well appointed and comfortable. Lots of books to choose from- even children’s books, fun games and puzzles, closet filled with ocean gear, beach chairs, life preservers, two bikes, and some snorkel gear. Kitchen has most everything you need to make great meals, even a Ninja blender. Large dining table, and good sized couch to spread out on. The owner was super accommodating to our requests since we were staying on island longer and needed a later checkout- very quick to respond and communicate. Lovely person. Pool and pool deck feel like you’ve stepped into a boutique hotel spa-like space. Fantastic outdoor chaise loungers, some under shade of palms, grill and outdoor table and chairs made our stay super exciting and comfortable. Kids loved the beach- so many shells and treasures wash up on beach. We had the beach entirely to ourselves during our 9 night stay. Strong WiFi - reaches almost to beach. Gated and fenced yard to add to privacy and sense of security. Will come back!
