Stayed Jul 18, 2025The location, the house and all the amenities were just as Barney described, so peaceful and just a short walk to the lake , oh and the occasional visit from the wildlife was an extra bonus, I plan on staying in touch with Barney for future stays !!! 5 ’s

Stayed Jul 9, 2025Booked a 3 day trip to primarily paddle board with the family for the majority of the time; therefore, wanted something close to the water. The property was great; however, the distance from the property to the water is about a half mile walk through a field which contains prairie dog holes and thistles. This doesn't sound too far; however, when you're carrying approximately 40 lbs of gear, you need to plan around being able to freely come back and forth as you would on a shoreline property. We discovered a driving trail relatively close to the property, where you can drop your gear and then have a runner move the truck. If you are planning on just walking the lake trail or just looking at the water from the deck of the property, this is perfect. Barney was great to deal with and the property is located within walking distance to the Weminuche Grill. Thank you
