Villa Attalea is located in San Ignacio, in Belize’s Cayo District, an area known for its lush rainforest, rivers, and rich cultural history.
The villa offers a peaceful setting surrounded by nature while still being just a short distance from town.

San Ignacio is a vibrant and welcoming community where guests can enjoy a variety of restaurants, cafés, local markets, and small shops. It serves as the main hub for exploring Belize’s inland attractions, including cave tubing, waterfalls, horseback riding, and ancient Maya sites such as Xunantunich and Cahal Pech.

The Macal River runs just below the villa, adding to the natural beauty of the area and offering a refreshing place to cool off on warm days.

This location provides the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, allowing guests to experience the rainforest while staying close to everything they need.

Guests have full private access to the villa, pool, gardens, outdoor lounging areas, and all indoor living spaces.

The property is gated for privacy and security, and guests will receive gate remotes upon arrival for convenient access throughout their stay.

Staff reside separately in the casita above the garage and do not share guest spaces, allowing guests to fully enjoy the villa’s peaceful and private atmosphere while still having assistance nearby if needed.

Villa Attalea is a private two-storey jungle villa thoughtfully designed for relaxed indoor-outdoor tropical living.

The main floor features two private bedrooms positioned on opposite sides of the villa with sliding doors opening directly onto the pool deck and gardens. Between them, the kitchen and living spaces flow naturally toward the outdoors, creating an open and breezy atmosphere immersed in nature.

Upstairs, the expansive master suite occupies the entire second level and opens onto a stunning private terrace with breathtaking jungle and mountain views — the perfect place for morning coffee, yoga, meditation, reading, or simply slowing down and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of Belize.

Outside, guests can enjoy the private pool, tropical gardens, shaded lounging areas, and the calming sounds of the surrounding jungle. Villa Attalea was designed to feel peaceful, grounding, and intentionally connected to nature at every turn.


A rental vehicle is recommended for guests who would like the most flexibility exploring San Ignacio and the surrounding Cayo District, including caves, waterfalls, Maya ruins, and other inland attractions. That said, the villa is located just a short distance from town, making it easy to access restaurants, cafés, shops, and local services.
Taxis are available in San Ignacio, and we can also assist with arranging private transfers to and from the airport, as well as transportation for tours and excursions.
For guests combining their stay with Ambergris Caye or other parts of Belize, we are happy to help coordinate domestic flights, ground transfers, and other travel logistics to make the journey as smooth as possible.
Villa Attalea offers a peaceful rainforest setting while still being conveniently connected to the main experiences and services of the area.
