Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Barefoot Hideaway for our 3rd trip to Cinnamon Shore, and we loved it. The house is spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 families. The kids loved it too (ages 3-7). There are 3 king bedrooms each with their own bathroom, and the kids slept in the bunk room. The whole home was spacious and didn’t feel cramped even though we had 6 adults and 6 kids. The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear the kids when they were being rowdy, but we brought a sound machine to help block that out in the early mornings. When staying at Cinnamon Shore, it’s a good idea to rent a golf cart too for easy trips to the beach and then your car doesn’t get all sandy.

Primary bedroom is on same floor. Other three bedrooms on the first floor. That may not work for everyone, but worked fine for us. The home does not have any full length mirrors. I would suggest one in every bedroom. We found the Bluetooth speaker on the last day in a corner of the kitchen. Would be nice to have a little sign to note the existence of the speaker. Owner is generous in supplying blankets for curling up on the couch at night as well as plenty of beach towels. We brought our own but was nice to know they were there. We were eight people in total and found we ran out of utensils (small spoons in particular) and had to run the dishwasher several times. Might be nice to add a second set of silverware. Icemaker in freezer struggled to produce much ice. We ended up buying bags of ice and keeping in the freezer. Homeowner may want to consider installing an icemaker. There’s an excess of cabinet space to potentially accommodate. The refrigerator doors do not open fully due to the design of the wall on either side, which is unfortunate. Overall, we had a wonderful four night stay. The house is absolutely beautiful. The high ceilings on both floors makes such an impact. The kids bunk room is very spacious as is the second primary on the first floor. Thank you for having us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, the wifi wasn't working. We were all fairly certain the router just needed to be reset, but it was in a locked owners closet and not accessible. It took 9 text requests, 5 phone calls and 23 hours to get a staff representative to try to resolve. Once someone did show up, it took a max of 10 minutes and indeed, the router just needed resetting.I missed a day of work because of this. Additionally, the manager steed that there were some hotspots available if needed.Resetting the router was a simple, fast, and easy fix. I understand maintenance was addressing a major A/C issue somewhere. But the course of action taken by the staff is unacceptable. WHY did it take 23 hours and 14 total requests to receive assistance? WHY was a hotspot not offered to me immediately? CS failed miserably on this one.

Kids were crying on the drive home because they missed it already. We are looking at times to come back next year and we'll very likely be renting the same property. We have stayed in many rental houses and this was probably the best stocked house we've stayed in. I'm pretty sure the house is very new because for many things it seemed like they had never been used.As Cinnamon Shore warns you, there is a lot of construction around this property, but we knew that going in and therefore it didn't bother us. The pool at the South was great - we just wish it served hot food (so we ended up spending time at the pool in the North so we had the food options). A golf cart rental is a must!We also did the s'mores on the beach and we enjoyed that. Overall a great experience at Cinnamon Shore and we'll definitely be back!
