Wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Very clean and cozy, huge very private deck with large hot tub and grill, amazing views, we enjoyed the many deer, rabbits, and the rare wild turkeys walking by. It's a little up the hill (East of the road) so it has great views and sunsets. Great access to Sea Ranch amenities and bluff walks. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and we absolutely loved our time in Sea Ranch and this lovely home. The house is cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our brief visit. The views from every room are stunning and the house has a spacious deck with lovely views of the water. Lots of hummingbird activity, too! Thank you so much! We hope to be back again.

The property location is beautiful and has very nice outdoor deck with a wonderful view. It worked well for our family and vendors that was providing lodging for my daughter’s wedding in the area. The house is “lived in” but is well maintained. The owner was very responsive to me on a couple of issues and she was out of the country too which I found very responsive.

Excellent stay

We love the design and location of the property.The fireplace makes it so warm and cozy.We are older in years and we really enjoy the relaxing hot tup.The owner and property manager are nice people to deal with. Overall, our stay was delightful.

The property is poor maintain, with dirty carpet covered with multiple dirty rugs, which is a huge fall risk. The bathrooms are small and very old. The closets are full with old blankets and other staff. The towels are at least 30 years old. It was the worst property at See Ranch since we started to go there 25 years ago. It was embarrassing to bring our friends there. Sad.

We loved our stay in The Rookery. The views are breathtaking and the home was perfect for a mini-stay in Sea Ranch. We enjoyed a nightly soak in the hot tub and a daily walk through the gorgeous neighborhood and trails. Leila is communicative and very kind. We’d love to stay here again!

Booked and got no check in info. Employees waited while we tried to contact host and even had to contact VRBO and then reach out. Ended up having to rush and buy 3 hotel rooms 200 each and yes host refunded money but not even full amount. Little disappointed in lack communication.

The checking and out process is easy, the location is incredible and the architecture, amenities and views are incredible. A very magical place. The owners are very welcoming.

Nice clean house, quiet neighborhood and beautiful coastal scenery. Will seek to stay again when making a trip to Sea Ranch.

Comfy bed, complete kitchen, gorgeous views

The house was a true pleasure including the perfect layout of rooms, bathrooms and communal spaces; with many windows looking out on nature; the deck was wonderful with a great view; the house had everything that could possibly be needed; the design, decoration and accessories were warm and inviting; all the instructions were easy to follow. We had a wonderful long weekend at The Rookery in Sea Ranch. The house was spacious, cozy, peaceful and very private with lovely views. It had everything we needed for our family of four to unwind and have fun - including wonderful gathering spaces to sit in front of the fire, watch movies and play games as well as plenty of room to spread out and read quietly. The outside deck is wonderful and large with places to lounge or dine and has a spacious hot tub and lovely flower garden. We enjoyed seeing fox, turkeys, a bald eagle, the ocean and the sunset all from the house and deck. The sitting area in the master bedroom (which has floor to ceiling windows was a tranquil haven for this as well). We also loved the radiant heat in the ensuite bathroom. Host Leila was gracious, timely, and incredibly helpful in responding to our inquiries and questions. In addition to loving the house and our host we were blown away by all Sea Ranch has to offer including heated pools, saunas, tennis and pickleball courts and a lending library with books, puzzles and games. We were able to hike from the house up to see lovely vistas and down to the bluff trail and beaches which were breathtaking! We can wait to visit Sea Ranch again and stay in this warm and welcoming home!

We found the place clean, well stocked, beautiful, and we preferred the lived-in feeling of it, as opposed to it feeling like a hotel. That's just personal preference. Most importantly to me, Leila was super responsive, kind, and helpful. I will say that if you are expecting 3 bedrooms, like I mistakenly was, you might consider renting the studio. This was my mistake, to be clear--I simply didn't realize that there are 2 bedrooms listed. I read the number of beds and assumed they were each in a bedroom. Makes sense, but also, this isn't my first time renting such a place, so I should have known better. Thank you, Leila!

The house is gorgeous, with great vibes. A cleaning miss was swiftly handled by the property manager.

We celebrated our anniversary with a lovely family gathering at this beautiful location. The scenery was stunning, and the owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Super cozy house with pretty views

Beautiful property. Loved the location very very relaxing. Although it rained still enjoyed our stay. Very cozy lots of nature and view of the ocean. Definitely want to come and stay late summer or early Fall.

I came here with 4 friends for a relaxing weekend and this place totally fit the bill! Huge, comfy window seat overlooking the hillside and the sea, lots of space, a roaring fire, and the best-stocked kitchen and bookcases I've ever seen in an VRBO rental. Great experience all around!

Beautiful house and ocean nearby.

The location of the house is very secluded. Ocean view from master bedroom, living area, and patio. Kitchen has almost everything you need for a short stay. The owner of the house is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The property is as described and shown in the photos. We would like to come back in the future.
