Arcadia - Carmel House - Classic Carmel

We love this house it is great for couples traveling together or a family as it has lots of room! 12 min. walk into Carmel through the beautiful streets, perfect for a get away!

We really loved staying at the Arcadia House. It was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished nicely. It felt very homey. It was a quick drive into town and the beach.

Lovely, comfortable home in charming, quiet neighborhood. Our family (grandparents, parents and two children) enjoyed long Thanksgiving weekend here. Kitchen was well appointed and we easily prepared our holiday feast. Our host, Kyle, was a thorough and responsive communicator. Highly recommend!

We came here because the area is quiet and so comforting. We haven’t done much, just rested and tried to find a little peace. A family member was meant to join us, but he passed away before he could celebrate our birthday with us. This time away has been an emotional pause we truly needed.

Great house, quiet, very walkable neighborhood, very clean and kitchen well stocked for cooking meals. Host very responsive via email. Will definitely return.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Arcadia. The house was super clean upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and utensils, and all the appliances were nice. The beds were comfortable. We loved the open floor plan and high ceilings. The two-car garage was an added bonus. It's so great to not have to park on the street. The neighborhood is really quaint and quiet. Downtown Carmel is a short drive away. Distance-wise it would be possible to walk into town, but like in pretty much all residential Carmel neighborhoods, there are no sidewalks. If I could make one suggestion - add WiFi extenders to the bedrooms. The WiFi is ok in the family room, but deteriorates quickly when get further away from the modem. It’s really weak in the master bedroom. I had no cellphone reception at the house at all (T-Mobile must have no tower nearby), and so I had to make calls via WiFi. That was only possible if I was near the modem in the family room.

Our stay was nice. A short walk to town. The house is spacious and clean. The host gave a lot of information in advance which was great. The bedroom with bunk beds was dark and beds were very hard and not comfortable. There is a bright room next door used for storage that could be nicer for a bedroom.

We loved our stay at this home that is located in a quiet neighborhood a little less than a mile from restaurants and shops. The kitchen had everything we needed for our 5 day vacation. We enjoyed the great Carmel weather and especially loved the back patio. Communication with the property manager was easy and attentive.

The house was perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms were very comfortable. I don’t think an adult or teenager would be comfortable in the third bedroom. Backyard was very pleasant for adults to relax and eat. Not good for kids to play. The surrounding trees were beautiful, and the house very sheltered from neighbors.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Super close to downtown Carmel. We had a lovely stay.

Exceeded our expectations

Wonderful location, very clean and we had a nice time!We enjoyed the cut glass wine glasses, little soaps and toiletries! We contacted them for a few little maintenance items like a TV remote not working..and a few others at checkout, and imagine they will be fixed before other guests arrive! Thanks!

I love visiting Carmel because of its timeless charm, elegance and coastal vibes. When planning a trip to Carmel that would include 3 generations of my family, I wanted to find a house that embodied those Carmel vibes and would be a great family hub location to hang out, cook, and relax for people ages 8 to 70. This house exceeded my expectations. It was both beautiful and cozy, very well maintained inside and out. We loved the beautifully landscaped yard featuring mature oak trees and a private patio perfect for bbqing and relaxing. Also, it was in a quiet neighborhood filled with locals but only a 5 minute drive to downtown and the beach - easy access but no tourist noise and traffic. The host was super helpful and responsive when we had questions about the property and activities in the surrounding area. All in all, we thought this house was a GREAT find, and would happily stay here again.

What a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood of Carmel. 20 minn walk/5 min drive to downtown. Beautiful furnishing, very spacious.

The property was about a mile from town and a bit further to the beach. Since parking downtown is a big problem, it was good we could walk to town. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood.

There were 3 of us ladies celebrating a special birthday for one of us. We enjoyed our stay at Arcadia. The house has 3 bedrooms so we each got our own room. The living area was very large and the kitchen had all the needed amentities. I

The home was clean, well stocked with essentials, and close to all of our activities (Monterey Bay Aquarium, Whale watching, and Point Lobos State Park). We will definitely be returning!

The outside patio was really dirty hard to use. We had to clean it before we could use it. Inside was lacking a lot of things that you would need when you go into a vacation home it was just a little disappointing.
