The apartment is recently built and furnished, the bathroom had just been renovated with a wonderful shower. Mosquito nets on all windows, even though not really necessary as the breeze from the sea keeps most of these annoying animals away. The terrace with sea view is a wonderful place to eat and rest reading a book, sun on the morning only - perfect if you want to tan with the early sun and take a siesta in the hottest hours of the day. The owners have their holiday house next door, they are extremely nice, discreet and helpful. We've got plenty of useful recommendations for our stay in Scopello and also Palermo. The figues tree in the garden was loaded with juicy fruits which we could directly pick. The garden consists in nice green grass and palms, perfect for children to play. One beach at zero distance, it is just a minute down some relatively steep stairs, white pebbles. The other one is a 15/20 min walk to Guidaloca, also pebbles, larger and equipped. With a short drive you can reach the paradise-like beaches of the Zingaro. The only downside were the mattresses, they should be replaced, but we mentioned this and we are sure the owners will do what they can.

We have spend a magic week at Vincenzo's location Cala Rossa. All was as expected and described. The house is on the end of a road in the middle of the great nature. No commuting traffic, so it was all day and night really quiet. The appartement is fully furnished with all stuff equipped you can imagine. Actually we felt like being at home because, especially for cooking, we missed nothing. The bath has recently completely been renovated and has a new fresh style. Important to mention: All windows have a mosquito mesh and sunblinds. The balcony has space for a table and four chairs. Also an umbrella is available, as we had the sun in the morning hours from seaside. The nice and green front yard is equipped with two sunlounger for a sunbath. It was also great that the car can be parked directly on the ground in front of the house. So not too far to carry the shopping bags into the appartement. The next shopping opportunity is five minutes to drive to the direction of Scopello. We mostly bought there our daily snacks. Beach was also just down the road, but it was end of may and still a bit chilly. I almost forgot: The appartement is very clean. No dirt, nothing sticky or worn-out. Also the areal is very clean and you can see that Vincenzo really cares about it. If your are looking for a peaceful place aside the tourist crowd, we can really recommend this panoramic location for a stay! Regards, Thorsten&Gaby

We stayed in this apartment with 3 adults and a 1 year old baby. The location of the apartment is fantastic just in front of the sea at the end of a dirt road. It is not easy to find, but luckily the owners helped us to find it. There are 2 nice beaches walking distance from the house. The owners are very friendly, they really made an effort to optimize our stay. The apartment itself is in a house with 3 other apartments and there is a nice shared garden to relax. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. It is also very suitable for young children. We especially liked to have breakfast or dinner on the balcony and enjoy the magnificent view of the sea. In summary, a great apartment. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Our hosts couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming and even had some Pizza for us waiting on our late arrival. The highlight is the view - it is stunning and we sat there on many a morning relaxing looking out. The accommodation is functional and has what you need. If the there were a family of four you might want more comfortable seating to accommodate. The shower is a tight squeeze and we are not a big family. And the track to the apartment is somewhat rugged but passable. The surrounding landscape is also rugged, and beautiful. Three things you must do: visit Segesta (the view from the Amphitheatre is spectacular - take lunch and enjoy); Erice is equally incredible (we walked around it initially in the cloud - very eerie) and the beach at San Vito Lo Capo is equally beautiful. A wonderful part of the world.

We stayed in the apartment for one week in september 2012 and we had a very good week there. Our apartment was one of four apartments in a house with garden. The apartment is vey nice and everything was tidy and clean when we arrived. It has a good balcony with very good view over the sea. We enjoyed the silence, as only a few cars drive on the road. A family with two young children, we spent two great weeks in this very comfortable, clean and modernly equipped apparment in a quiet place. The terrace provides a stunning view over the sea. In front of the house, there is a small path going down to a very small beach (Cala Rossa) and if you like to walk a little bit more, you can follow the rocky shore to a series of small creeks. There is also a great small-pebbles/sand beach (Guidaloca) nearby. Many thanks to the owners for their warm welcome and their help!

The accommodation is well located and equipped with a tremendous view on the see. The surroundings are quiet, and you may benefit from various accesses to the see (walking distance, or by car) The landlords are very nice and provide useful advice. Very relaxing place, and nice area. We''ll come back for sure!
