AN OWL and the MOON. Get-Away in Mohican State Park. Location perfect!

We loved An Owl the Moon! Everything was perfect and Nancy is phenomenal. This is the best place to stay in the Loudonville area and we'll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Owl and the Moon. Nancy was phenomenal with coming to our rescue whenever needed. Loved the hot tub!! Very comfortable stay. Everything was fantastic!

This is the perfect place to stay in the Mohican area! You can't get more convenient than this location. The host is friendly and your next door neighbor but are extremely cognizant of maintaining your privacy. For our family of four with dogs, we had loads of room. Everything was perfect and I will absolutely look here first if in the area again.

Nice clean cozy property! When taking showers water would switch from hot to cold then back. Vent in back bedroom was not blowing any air so it was a little to warm for sleeping. Road noise was very loud.

Loved the location and house. Layout of house was ideal. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the back yard every evening. It would be helpful to have written TV and DVD instructions for guests. Highly recommend this house for other folks.

The home was located near state park and kayaking liveries as well as quick drive to various restaurants and downtown Loudenville yet was in wooded rural setting. The home was well stocked and organized. We felt at home and lacked for nothing. Tom and Nancy were kind and helpful. Great layout in the home to enjoy togetherness with privacy! Highlights for us were the hot tub, fire ring, and nature trail on the property. The sign near the road at the entrance of the property was a wonderful help!

The house was nice and clean. The water had a definite sulfur smell. The hot tub was great after exploring Mohican. We would recommend.

We stayed for the weekend and used this place to prepare food for a group of 38 high school seniors. Kitchen was a great size for 4 us moms to move around in and lots of counter space! Living room was great size and open to kitchen. Master bedroom and bathroom were huge! Other 2 bedroom’s were a great size! Everything was very clean.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at An Owl and the Moon! The host was very accommodating to our needs, we have 3 dogs that travel with us sometimes. Would definitely book again!

It is an easy to fund property. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is very close to licsl entertainment and restaurants. A great place for a family outing.

Stayed to visit family in area for an after Thanksgiving celebration. Loved the trails behind property to walk the dog. Would definitely stay again!

It was a wonderful, quaint little place. Beautiful scenery in the fall. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed being there during the Feast of Tabernacles!

We enjoyed time in the hot tub, hiking in the nearby state park, watching baseball playoffs at night, fireside chats and cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed and the TV was easy to navigate to find the sports events we didnt want to miss. Thank you for sharing your property, Nancy.

I would totally give this 10 stars if i could!! It rained the whole time we were there and it was still so relaxing! We had lots of fun hanging out on the porch and playing the oudoor ring hook game! The dogs loved seeing critters and hiking around. Everthing was provided and I'd for sure go back again!!! Excellent and thank you so much for sharing your guest home with us!!! .... As usual, we enjoyed our stay Nancy and her husband Always have everything there that we need. This is a great getaway cabin. This is our fifth year going and GOD willing will be back again next year.

Exactly as pictured but even better. It was 3 of us and our 2 dogs. Spacious home, relaxing environment, close by so many different things to do. We enjoyed ourselves throughly and would love to come back and check out even more adventures but it’s easy to get stuck sitting on the porch!

We went for a quick get away and found this fit the bill perfectly! Very clean, exactly as described. Loved the hot tub! View was beautiful. Hosts were very responsive with questions. Definitely recommend!

The place was cozy and everything we needed, from clean, hot tub, AC, and to a cute little trail the had cute markers. The place was very convenient to the Mohican Adventure and only 20sh to the movie theater.

We were staying here for Incarceration this year and this location did not disappoint! We were within 5 minutes of Mohican Castle and Mohican Adventure Park which was a huge bonus. The house was just as described in the listing, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We loved using the hot tub and deck at the end of the night after being on our feet all day- our family is already talking about next year plans! Thanks again to the owners for letting us stay at this location :)

The house was exactly as listed. Clean, well furnished, comfortable, well maintained. We pulled up and were able to get in. The hot tub was a nice ending to a day on the river. Would definitely stay again in the future.
